5. Other Skills - CV/Resume Part 5 [Optional]
-
6. Additional Information - CV/Resume Part 6 [Optional]
During projects internationally, being confronted with other cultures, I have managed to negotiate on difficult and sensitive matters towards land owners in order to have permission to build sites on their premises and afterwards coordinating the works and intervene diplomatically when necessary.

Working as a construction manager for Orange in Sweden, Stockholm, I have succeeded to coordinate and guide a team of 30 people, organizing meetings, supervising on the field, satisfying the client respecting their deadlines . On every project I manage to work completely independent focusing on my goals.
With my 15 years civil, structural works experience I always could find a solution that was satisfactory by my superior manager. With this it could work self-assured but efficiently.
Working with the latest software is a must not only for myself but to be able to compete and have good and rapid results working on big projects. Software I am using on expert level: Tekla Structures, StaadPro, Autocad, Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project. Also some experience with HTML having built my own website.
For challenging projects I am willing to relocate. Location Europe, Worldwide. I am keen to travel and work in international environments. I am open for other cultures. Typically my character is to be diplomatic, emphasize on dialogue trying to create a pleasant atmosphere.
When I am in Belgium I try to spent most of my free time with my spouse and children 6 and 8 of age in order to ‘catch-up’ of what was ‘lost’ during my absence.
