1982 – 1985 Suez Oil Company "SUCO" – Gulf of Suez – Egypt
Ø Working as a well–site geologist for the exploratory and development wells in Ras Budran, Ras Fanar and Zeit Bay Oil Fields.

Jan. – Jun. 1986 Agiba Petroleum Company, W. D. – Egypt. "On Loan"
Ø Working as a well-site geologist for the exploratory and development wells in Meleiha Oil Field and the surrounding wells, in which Dora and Zahra Oil Fields have been discovered at that time.

1987 – 1988 Khalda Petroleum Company, W. D. – Egypt. "On Loan"
Ø Working as a well-site geologist for the exploratory and development wells in Salam Oil Field and its surrounding wells. Discovery of Tarek Gas Field has been achieved at that time.

1988 – 1989 Military Service " Engineering Force"
Ø Performing mechanical analysis (grain Size) and Bitumen's percent for black roads.

1989 – 1991 Suez Oil Compmany "SUCO"
Mud Logging Suco Unit.
Ø Working as a mud logger and well-site geologist of SUCO mud logging unit in Ras Burban, Fanar and Zeit Bay fields, in addition to writing and reviewing final well reports and composite logs.

1991 – 1995 Suez Oil Company "SUCO"
Gulf of Suez, Egypt.
Ø Geological Operations Section Head of Zeit Bay Field.Working as field supervisor
for well site Geologists and mud logging units in Zeit Bay and Ras Fanar Fields.
1995 – 1996 Qarun Petroleum Company, W. D. – Egypt."On Loan"
Ø Working as field supervisor for Qarun oil field and the surrounding wells (Development, Appraisal & Exploratory).
Ø Deciding the casing point, the coring point and logging programs of surface, intermediate and total depth.
Ø Supervision the mud logging and well-site geologists of Qarun oil Field and surrounding wells.

1996 – 2001 Qarun Petroleum Company W. D. – Egypt.

Ø Supervising the geological Operations of Qarun Petroleum Company for drilling more than fifty exploratory and development wells, reaching 40,000 BOPD and achieving six oil discoveries.
Ø Supervising and evaluating the logging, mud logging, logging while drilling and conventional core analysis contractors.
Ø Making log correlation and determining formation tops, missing sections and structural relationship of the current wells.
Ø Performing a quick look evaluation to provide the quick decisions and choice the hot zones to be tested.
Ø Establishing the optimum logging programs.


2001 – 2003 Qarun Petroleum Company – W.D. – Egypt.
(Karama Oil Field Development)
Ø Development of Karama oil field in W.D. – Egypt.
Ø Making well proposals of Karama oil field including well tops, fault cuts, structure contour maps, net pay & net sand maps, cross sections (more than twenty wells) reaching 14,000 BOPD.
Ø Simulation study 3D reservoir modeling of Karama Oil Field using Petrel Soft Ware in Schlumberger Cairo – Egypt (May – October 2003).


Nov. 2003 – Till Now Qarun Petroleum Company – W.D. – Egypt
Regional Geology Assistant General Manager
Ø Complete Karama 3D reservoir modeling in Apache (Rebuild static model based on core facies) using Petrel Soft Ware.
Ø Starting water injection in Karama Oil Field according to static model due to pressure decline.
Ø Technical & commercial evaluations of sedimentological analysis, Borehole imaging and routine core analysis tenders.
Ø  Re-evaluating Gharibon (P & A) & Lahun (T & A) exploratory wells based on oil, gas shows & E. Logs, recommending to retest both wells by using hydraulic frac. Resulting in two oil discoveries in East & West of Nile (530 & 600 BOPD).
 Presenting an oral paper in AAPG Energy Conference & Exhibition in Athens-Greece Nov. 2007 (A case study for Karama oil field W.D Egypt).
