KNPC Kuwait { Mina Abdullah Refinery } 2002 – till date
• Since July. ’02 Working as a Field Operator in gas recovery unit and merox unit in Mina Abdullah Refinery’, (KNPC) Kuwait. In coker unit.
• Working as a responsible field operator in gas recovery unit in Tharmal craking unit, having two trains with capacity of 40,000 BPSD total capacity of 80,000 BPSD.
• Hands on experience in operation of balance draft heater.
• Hands on experience in fractionator’s area and Gas recovery area. Operation of steam turbine, electric motor driven turbine, gas compressor, absorber, splitter, steam generator, debutainiser etc.
• Hands on experience in Nephtha Merox plant. Operation of caustic treatment and doctor test.
• During emergency shut down like fire, power failure, instrumentation failure, steam failure, worked as a skill operator with safety.
• Attended course of SHE department conduct by KNPC safety department.

• Unit having balance Draft, Bottom Fire Furnace having Four Cock Drums.
• Each Furnace have dual Fire facilities. [fire gas and fire oil ]
• In Fractionator unit fractionators having 22 valves and three shed treys. The purpose of fractionators is to fraction of Naphtha, kerosene, disel and gas oil with minimum recycle ratio.
• Unit having 2 charge pump with turbine driven.


Reliance Petroleum Ltd., Jamnagar, India. 1999 – 2002

• Mar. '99 to Jul’02 Worked as Field Operator in gas recovery unit and heater area in Reliance Petroleum Ltd., Jamnagar. India.
• I was working in the world largest grassroot refinery and petrochemical complex. I was deployed in the world largest Coker unit designed by M/s Foster Wheeler with unit capacity of 1,40,000 BPSD.
• Hands on experience in Heater, Fractionator, and Gas plant & Coke drum.
• I was involved in with heavy responsibilities at the time of pre commissioning and commissioning and smooth start up of units as follows.
• Review of the plant PFD’s & P&ID’s and equipment data sheet.
• Going through plant specific, operating manual, standard operating procedure manuals.
• Leak test for various systems including column, vessels, piping and etc.
I was fully involved in pre commissioning and commissioning activity of gas recovery unit.

• The unit having four balance draft bottom fire furnaces and eight drums.
• Each furnaces having dual fire facility (Gas fire/Oil fire). For a safe start up each heater ensure by burner management system (BMS). Each furnace having 72 bottom fire burners.
• In Fractionator unit fractionators having 22 valves and five shed treys. The purpose of fractionators is to fraction of LPG, Naphtha, HCGO, and LCGO with minimum recycle ratio.
• The units have 4 heater charge pump which is feed fire heater. Each pump has a capacity of 264 m3/hr.
• The unit having HCGO and LCGO stripper.

I have an experience of handling all above equipment & knowledge of gas plant / coke drum and blow drum, have also experience of handling of different types of pumps with different seal plan. I am also responsible for good housekeeping and safety of plan.


M/s Gas Authority Of India Ltd. 1998 to1999

• From November’98 to February’99. I was working as operation technician during commissioning under S.S. construction in H.D.P.E. (High Density Poly Ethylene) Plant.

IPCL Dahej and Baroda Complex 1995 to 1998

• From April’1995 to March’1998 as Field Operator.
• I was working as an Operation Technician in VCM plant. I was actively taken part in pre commissioning and commissioning of heater and VCM plant. I was handling 2 natural draft furnace, HCL column, and VCM column.
• Worked as an attended operator in Naphtha Cracker plant. I have taken individual charge in heater and Fractionator plant. Operated natural draft furnace.
• I handle operation of deethaniser, depropaniser, debutainiser, Acetylene converter, Caustic absorption and methanation systems.

• From Sept. ’94 to Apr. ’95 working as a Plant Chemist.
