As an Electrical Estimator:

 Evaluate tender documentation and establish scope of works for the compilation of a comprehensive client proposal. Obtain competitive quotations from various suppliers to ensure company remains competitive.
 Design electrical installation for client and produce electrical drawings to suit client requirements then provide proposal to suit design.
 Accurate take off of material quantities from drawings and specifications for input into tender.
 To prepare consolidated proposals / tenders, issue requests for clarification from the Client and seek input from relevant parties within the company as required.
 To convene tender review meetings and produce any required final amendments to proposals / tenders.
 To assist as required in follow-up to tender submissions, attend clarification meetings and provide negotiation support up to contract award.
 To discuss design, technical and operational issues with Division Managers / Teams as necessary to ensure all submissions match the company’s capabilities.
 On contract award, hand over all relevant information to the Divisional Team to allow the project start-up to be completed in accordance with the relevant Quality Procedure(s).
 To provide support to the Project Management Team throughout project execution with respect to tender build-ups.
 Adherence to the procedures as laid down by the HSE Management System and Quality Management System.
 Identify any contractual conditions from client which would impact financially on company and highlight these to operations manager prior to submitting company proposal. Identify and implement improvements in company estimating or design or engineering processes, liaise with operations manager and supervisors in event of contract award for submitted tenders.
 Visit clients/customers sites as required to provide suitable proposals for their requirements also advise on current electrical standards and regulations.
 Ensuring enquiries are logged to comply with company QA System.
 Ensure timely preparation of tenders and design documentation.
 Respond to tender clarifications from clients in timely and efficient manner.

As a Project / Site Engineer:

 Ensuring that all Electrical repair and installation activities are completed in accordance with recognized industry standards and customer specific requirements.
 Supervising the activities of the Electrical Technicians at customer sites for all electrical installations and repairs.
 Execution of electrification & earthing works.
 Installation of LT switch boards and panels;
 Maintenance of Engine Alternator sets ranging from 30-300KVA;
 Execution of Central battery emergency lighting works.
 Execution of Lightning protection system as per BS Standards.
