Electrical / Instrument Maintenance Engineer with 21 (twenty one) years experience in providing preventive and corrective electrical / instrument maintenance, and breakdown service for gas plant and oil gathering facilities. My duties will include fault finding, repair work, electrical installation of plant equipment, preventative maintenance as well as the calibration of plant instrument system equipment. Plant equipment includes gas turbine / gas engine generator sets, high voltage switchgear, motor control centre, UPS, frequency drive , electric motors,transmitters, switches, controller, instrument field devices, PLC and metering equipment, portable and semi-portable electrical / instrument equipment and plants management control systems.
Troubleshooting on Instrument, electrical and mechanical system of Solar gas turbine generators/compressors are also my responsibilities. Allen Bradley PLC controls is also my favorite jobs.
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting of refinery equipment, including power distribution systems, motor controls, switch gear, UPS systems, and substations.
Responsible for electrical systems design, specification, installation, testing, and start-up.
Project duties include design development, construction scope, drawing preparation, construction support, and start-up supervision.
Responsible for maintenance support and reliability of existing electrical equipment.
Assist with maintenance planning and execution of major equipment repairs and unit turnarounds as needed.
Participate in refining electrical reliability network, industry technical societies, and support engineering standards maintenance and development.
Manage and coordinate capital projects associated with plant upgrades and expansion.
Coordinate and supervise work of contractors including liaison with vendors.
Interface with external Power Agencies.
