Field Operation in Halul Qatar:
Carrying out process field activities in Halul oil field in Qatar. Production of around fifty thousand bbls and formation water treatment up to one lacks of water and injection in to the wells. Working on Electric Submersible Pumps (REDA) .Assisting in control room operation. Handling local panel board operations, Inhibition on FDUI and GDF in local panels. And etc.

Change over of rotating equipments. Checking level of lube oil in rotating equipments.
Start up of indirect fired heater , filling up make-up water for indirect fired heater
Isolation and de-isolation of rotating equipment hand over to maintenance team.
Start up and change over of air compressor. Checking level of lube oil in air compressor. And draining of water from air compressor.
Top up of chemicals in chemical storage tank checking the rate and adjusting the rate as per process requirements.
Receiving Pig and depressurizing and opening the pig door.
First line maintenance of Pressure gauges, level gauges LCVs, PCVs, and FCVs.
Decoking of level gauges or flushing level gauges.
Witnessing dip of receiving tank farm with QP operator.
Receiving Tank change over in the manifold.
Changing Auto sampler from oil metering skid for lab analysis.
Periodical sampling collecting and checking BS&W from process vessel.
Conducting meter proving in metering skid. Diverting the flow from meter A to B and vise versa. Depressurizing meter Proover after completion.
Opening locally of SDV 0200 and 0001.
Watching of flare during black out in Halul.
Inhibition and normalization of SS 21 CO2 system.
Inhibition and normalization of FDUIs, GDFs, MAC from local FGS panel.
Safety watch during hot job going in the plant.
Safety watches while the GDF and FDUI are inhibited for any kind of jobs.
Coordinating with mechanical team or any team during there maintenance in process area.

Wellhead Operations:

Operating and monitoring the complete water injection system – High pressure (Reciprocating) injection pumps - injection well head operations water sampling etc.

General operations involved:

Operation and control of well through different headers for optimum production. Oil manifolds, gas lift manifolds, surge tanks, separators (two/three phase), dehydration tanks, water disposal pumps, crude transfer pumps, chemical injection, gas/oil line pigging operations, well testing, etc. Gas compressors, inter-stage scrubbers, gas treatment, glycol contractors, glycol regeneration unit, gas export, routine sampling of oil and gas, glycol and condensate, isolations and de-isolation of equipment, vessels and tank for maintenance. Familiar with permit to work systems, gas testing, mechanical and electrical isolation producers and coordination with maintenance crew, troubleshooting reporting, etc.

Offshore Production Platforms:

Well experienced in offshore production installations and rigs. Well testing, well completion, well actuation, choke and kill manifold, startup and shutdown procedures, control room operations, emergency procedures, water injection, gas compression, oil shipment, chemical injection, etc.

Control Panel Operations:

Conversant in handling all types of control panels, Central Control Panels, Local Control Panels, Pneumatic control panels, value mounted control panels, PLC, SCADA and DCS systems. Various types of valves, PCV, LCV, FCV, TCV, Fisher controllers, Joucovier, gas detectors, UV detectors, detronics, Foxbro, Micons and Honeywell instrument panels, etc.

Oxygen Scavenger, Biocide Breaker made by EXXON petrolite and backer oil field chemicals.

Artificial Lift Systems:

Operation of high pressure gas injection system. High pressure gas injection wells. Operation of artificial gas lift well (intermittent and continuous lift), operation of gas lift copressors, casing depressurising, water lift pumps, etc.


Sub sea Panels:

Operation of subsea completed wells through Cameron control panels. Monitoring and controlling the flow and processing of three phase crude in accordance with process plant safety system, etc.

Central Production Facility and Tank Farm:


Receiving crude from different gathering stations, and free water knockout Drum, dehydration tank, desalination tank, produced water tank, skimmer tank, storage tank operations, emulsion treatment by Electrostatic heater-treater, demulsifier injetion pumps, injection rate calculations, crude transfer pumps, meter proving shipping pumps, troubleshooting as per cause and effect logics, operation of gas trubines for generator, compressors, pumps and fire water pumps, Pig launching and receiving, preparation of production reports, well test data entry. Well aware of plant safety equipment, emergency procedures, etc.

Gas Compression and Gas Plant Operations:


Worked in gas gathering station, gas compression facilities, gas plant, etc. Handled different types of gas compressors, isolation and de-isolation of compressors, start and stop logics, recycle and anti-surge functions, scrubbers, heat exchangers, etc. Handled gas turbines (Ruston, Solar) and gas engines (Waukesha, Caterpillar) as prime movers to compressors. To assisting the production engineer in work over, production testing, well completion, wire line activities and platform operations and also to work on stimulation vessel. To make the readings from the separator and choke manifold etc. Maintenance of Production equipment. Any other task assigned by the engineer in charge from time to time.
