Experienced Details –
Since 4th August 2007, I am working with SABIC ( Saudi Arabia) (Yanbu national petrochemicals company) Yansab project as a instrument Technician. I have posted In POLYPROPLENE Plant.At present we are Erection work is going on.
We have foundation fieldbus . Also we have Yokogawa centium 3000 DCS.

Previous Experienced .
I had worked Reliance Industies limited.( Petrochemicals division) , Hazira , Surat , with 15 years .
I have got total 18 years of experienced in the field of process control instrumentation for its erection , commissioning maintenance , start up and working on DCS , PLC like automation .
Presently, I am working as Sr, Instrument Technician. I have been involved in erection and commissioning of Glycolysis , Ethelene Glycol Recovery and continuous polymerization plant and polyproplene plant .
Nature of work
Erection and commissioning of DCS , PLC and all field instruments, calibration , Reparing & maintenance , preventive maintenance , Individual shift duties , attendance of planned shutdown & breckdown jobs, planning and working on FCO’s ( Field change order ) implementation and other routine maintenance work and men power handling .

Distributed control system
I have been working on Distributed control system supplied by M/S ABB , USA having ADVANT system with SC CONTROLLERS and MOD -300 software and Yokogawa centium3000.

Programmable logic controllers
Siemens programmable logic controllers having various CPU’s with Step -5 language and Step -7 software. Software like CPU135U, CPU115U, CPU90U & CPU95U.

My job at Reliance Industries Limited Involves –

A) Planning - Modification done where frequent failure of instrument was occurring so
planned for its spares & consumables and executed whole modification
jobs.
- Planning during shutdown for spares , identification & arrangements of
- spares with a view to carry out jobs with minimum downtime and proper way.
- Work shop arrangement as per 5S ( FIVE S) structure to identify availability of material during breck down with minimum downtime.
B)Shut down activities –

- Attended regular planned plant shutdowns & maintenance done for
instruments.
- Installation of new instruments , reparing , calibration and preventive
maintenance.
- Faulty instruments waste management generated after completion of shut down.


C)Commissioning activities –

- Commissioning of control panels, good understanding of DCS , PLC
and its sequences & interlocks.
- Troubleshooting of interlocks during equipment tripping..
- Worked with various type of logic like relay logic(Hard wired interlocks), PLC logic , DCS logic.

D) Instrumentation –
- Calibration and routine maintenance of all instruments like pneumatic
instruments , Electronics instruments and smart instruments.
- Instruments trasducers checking like as RTD , Thermocouple etc.
- Installation and adjustment of all types of proximity sensor.
- Weight instruments calibration and maintenance.
- Control valve maintenance work like new control valve installing , failure analysis of its spare parts and control valve calibration etc.
- Pressure measuring instruments – Pressure Transmitter( M/S ROSEMOUNT & M/S DYNISCO),Pressure switches ,gauges etc
- Flow measuring instruments – Magnetic flow meter , Micromotion for mass flow meter ( Both 9712 & 9739), Differential pressure transmitter ,Vortex flow meter ,Flow switches etc.
- RTD, Thermocouple, Temperature switches, Taylor make Temperature controller ( Pneumatic) etc.
- Level measuring instruments – Neuclonic level measurement(Radiation type), Level Transmitter M/S Rosemount ( Both purge & Flange type), Level switches, Level gauges etc.

E) Special Instrumentation-

- Nucleonic level measurement , Radition type level transmitter from
M/S ohmart , USA (source & detector type) for varying level
measurement in processes.
- Mass flow measurement , Micromotion coriollis principled flow meter
- from M/S Rosemount.
- O2 Analyser ,M/S Rosemount.
- Torrisonal viscosity Transmitter.
- PH Meter
- Conductivity transmitter

G) Component level Reparing –

- Good understanding of circuit Diagrams of any instruments and
recognition of components.
- Component level Reparing and calibration of various instruments like power supplies, Temperature controllers, Safety system modules, Relay modules and other miscellaneous electronic modules used in plants.
- Calibration & maintenance of all types of Control valves, Valve positioners and I/P conertor.

H) Extra curriculum and Achievements –

- I have got Eight suggestion awards . My one suggestion was Excellence and it was complex first.
- I have got many awards in safety competition . In 2003 & 2005 Selected as SAFETY MAN OF THE YEAR.
- I have got many awards in Energy conservation activities.
- I have got awards in Quality circle activitites( Complex level as well as State level )
- I have got awards in 5S Activities.
- I have got awards in Enviornment awareness activities .
- I am working on SAP.
