I would like to apply with your company for the position of Offshore Chief Mechanical Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor, where I can use my skills and previous marine and oilfield offshore experience to help you company mission. The enclosed resume covers my 20 years offshore sea-going sectors, shipyards and Engine Factories, engineering experience and concerns my background and capability. Over 19 years of this is offshore (oil and gas industry) maritime experience as Chief Rig Engineer, Rig Mechanic, Maintenance Engineer, Offshore Marine Chief Engineer and Barge Supervisor. You will find I have an ability to work safely and efficiently, without direct supervision, I use initiative to solve difficult problems and work well as a member of a multi skilled team. I am used to working rotating shifts encompassing a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week schedule under variable and hostile conditions and highly motivated able to work on their own initiative and deal with wide variety of charters and all levels. I have extensive background in monitoring, supervise, preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment (Various Types Diesel Engines, Mud Pumps, Gas and Solar Turbines, Compressors, Boilers, Cranes, Rotating Equipment, Top Drives, Drawworks, etc). I am well conversant with mechanical workshop practices as well with ecological and sea antipollution services. In addition to English, I speak Russian and Spanish. I have experience with work in West Africa. Middle East, Gulf of Mexico, Far East, and North Sea on various oil, gas rigs/platform and jack-up, offshore vessels, barges, drill ships.
