· Responsible for the fabrication and presentation of Operational Risk Management Briefs for a shipboard environment.
· Advised and practiced Hazardous Material Operations and Spill Control measures.

· As a shipboard Firefighter and Fire Team Leader, led fire teams through numerous training simulations, including Live Exercises that were graded by higher echelons.

All other sensitive or classified documents such as congressional inquiries, etc., were available on a CD for checkout by authorized personnel only.
· Conducted various administrative taskings normally associated with an administrative office such as the preparation, submission and filing of correspondence, including editing and correcting those prepared by subordinates, conducting mail orderly training, etc.
· Provided exceptional training to subordinates, resulting in a 100 percent rank/grade advancement rate during a period of downsizing and personnel reductions.
· Advanced to E-6 upon arrival.

Administrative Specialist South America/Far East
· Ensured the Safety, Administrative and Personnel needs for a crew of 350 were met in a timely and professional manner. Prepared classified and unclassified documents and correspondence, rules and regulations, and the daily operational schedule.
· Out of a pool of 5 other specialists, was chosen to personally act as Administrative Assistant to the Commanding Officer. Made responsible for preparing his daily and weekly personal schedule.

· Assisted with the creation of a new database system for the ship's Tag-Out/Lock-Out Program, ensuring compliance with Navy rules and regulations and OSHA.
· Trained junior Sailors in the maintenance and preservation of the ship's firefighting systems and damage control equipment. Additionally, I was hand selected to augment the ship's damage control experts in the training of the crew on various aspects of damage control (shipboard fires, battle damage, flooding, Chemical/Biological/Radiation decontamination).
