I am conversant with the safe operation, maintenance, and supervision of large heavy duty marine type machinery and personnel as can be found in large Power Plants and on board ships to include but not limited to diesel engines (propulsion or generators), boilers, air compressors, firefighting equipment, pumps, reverse osmosis and fresh water generators, sewage systems, air conditioning and refrigeration plants, ballast operations, etc. I am also capable of operating control rooms incorporating computerized control systems such as large power plants, as I have completed a course on the Honeywell TDC 3000 totally distributed control graphic user interface system and have hands on experience with this system working as an operator at a state of the art power plant. This should make it easy for me to adapt to any similar system. I am computer literate and have a good theoretical and working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and instrumentation and control systems. I am also conversant with the ISM system.
