I have worked as a roughneck on a drill rig, been a District Engineer with well cementing and stimulation, a Regional manager over 23 states and Eastern Canada for the drilling fluid expendables, a Site Geologist on the $1.2 billion dollar Mon-Fayette expressway(assistant lead also on my section), Senior Inspector on large, major heavy construction projects, and supervisor over an environmental upgrade in Puerto Rico.

Zande @ Associates, 2003 to present, Project-Corridor “H”, $25,000,000.00, Senior Civil Inspector, Duties: Oversee contractor’s work to evaluate for proper method, safe manner of work, and use of authorized materials. Supervised support personnel for proper safety and training. Performed all computer functions as they applied to the various programs assigned to the project. Inspected all material before placement, during placement, and authorized acceptance for submittal for reimbursement.
URS Corporation, 1999 to 2003, Project-Corridor “H”, $61,000,000.00, Night Project Supervisor, Duties: Responsible for all work and activities related to the construction of a major new four-lane highway through thru rugged, mountainous terrain. Performed all testing, placement, excavation (8,000,000 cubic meters), reporting, and took responsibility for a safe work place. Successfully completed all tasks and computer reporting functions on time, safely, and within budget.
Monolough Basin Engineers, 1994 to 1999, Mon-Fayette Expressway, $1.2 Billion, Assistant Lead and site Geologist, Duties: Assisted the Resident Engineer in establishing a safe wok place. Took total responsibility for the mine stabilization project, inspected all piling for splice and weld, assisted on five bridges, ensured all environmental laws were followed, worked with the contractor to establish a professional working relationship, enforced all safety requirements and needs, and trained personnel as needed.
United States Environmental Protection Agency, 1988 to 1991, Safe Waters Project, Cost of project-unknown, Environmental Coordinator for the State of West Virginia, Duties: Compiled and completed a detailed, comprehensive program for specific, technical solutions to water and wastewater problems as they affected specific areas of West Virginia, developed workable project financing arrangements, laid groundwork for acquiring permits, and negotiated with local, state, and federal authorities.
Capital Construction, 1986 to 1989, Federal Underground Petroleum Tank and Pipeline Regulations, Millions of Dollars, Project Manager, Duties: Tested all underground tanks and product lines for leaks and integrity. When determined to be unsafe, replaced underground petroleum tanks, lines, and pumps. Tested all replaced systems for integrity and certified sound. Managed crews of 70 laborer, technicians, and foremen. The safety for the project was 100% safe.
Reed American, 1979 to 1985, Eastern United States and Eastern Canada with the North Sea, Regional Manager, Duties: Managed 23 states and eastern Canada for the company sales and use of fluid end expendables. Developed a customer base with petroleum drilling companies, mining companies, OEM, and pipeline companies for use of the companies product. Assisted with problems on rigs associated with the use of fluid end expendables. Increased sales from $300,000.00 to $5,500,000.00.
B.J. Hughes, 1977 to 1979, Rocky Mountain Region, District Engineer, Duties: Responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas well stimulation in the rocky mountain area. Used various fluids(cross-linked gel, emulsifiers, acids) and solids(sand, bauxite, and glass beads) to allow passage of desired product to escape to the well bore. Designed and implemented surface, intermediate, and long string cementing jobs.
