From 3rd Sep'05 – 05th Jan’07 as Maintenance Planner with Petrofac Facilities Management International Aberdeen U.K., for client Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company (GNPOC), Khartoum, Sudan responsible for all planning activities related to the maintenance contract for the main Oil pipeline Pumping Stations (6), Production Facilities (2), Metering stations (2), and Marine Loading Terminal (1).

Job profile:
o Planning for 70+ Major Overhauls of Allen Diesel, Wartsila, Rolls Royce Bergen, and Cummins Engine Drivers, along with attached Weir Pumps and ABB Generators.
o Prepares short and long term routine maintenance schedules and monitors completion of the work carried out.
o Participates in long term planning of process and offsites and offshore major maintenance. Participates in the preparation and in the issuing of a 5-year work program.
o Defines with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments any shutdown work scope. Ensures that all preventive and maintenance, inspection, recertification, repair, overhaul and modifications’ requirements are included in such scope of works.
o Prepares implementation programs using “PERT” planning techniques. The “PERT” program will show clearly critical paths).
o Defines maintenance activities, defining manpower, spare parts and materials, tools and logistic requirements.
o Checks spare parts and materials availability. Issues materials reservations from stock, and prepares purchase requests as requested. Follows up with warehouse and purchasing sections on materials status and delivery in support of Operations.
o Ensures coordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines during overhaul execution, to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth execution of shutdown.
o Supervises and coordinates follow up and administration of spare parts after shutdown work completion, i.e. returning excess spare parts to Warehouse, arranging for reconditioning of some spare parts, write off and scrap used parts which can not be reconditioned.
o Manage CMMS data input for both upstream and down stream Pump Stations.
o Produce workload look heads and planning from CMMS work orders for both Upstream and down stream Maintainable Assets.
o Generate Preventive maintenance and Corrective maintenance Work orders for Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Yearly Maintenance activities through CMMS system. Ensure correct and complete closing out of work orders.
o Produce management reporting data viz. Engine Reliability Reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.), Diesel usage, oil consumption, Engine running hrs, Work orders completed etc. as required.
o Assist in the compilation of PMRs & SPs required to populate additional work in CMMS.

From May'2002 - Aug'05 as Planning Engineer (in Refinery) at Reliance Engineering & Associates Pvt. Ltd. (REAL) Jamnagar- Gujarat

Job profile:

Emco Ltd, Thane (Distribution & Special Transformers Manuf. Company).

Job profile:
o Preparation of Production Plan, Delivery status, resource planning, & Coordination with other depts. in Customer's inspection, ISO & other activities.
o All responsibilities of Tanking, assembly, Drying, Vacuum oil filling & Final fitting before despatch. Active part drying in Hot air oven for the required drying time as per the Kv ratings.
o Tanking assembly: Active part tanking, Assembly of HV/LV Bushings, Top lid preparation, oil level gauge, PRV, Thermometer pocket, Drain valve, tap changer fixing, earthing etc. Vacuum Oil filling of complete transformer & offering for testing. All Final fittings viz. Rating plate, Lightening arrestor brackets, stenciling (HV & LV side), Earthing side, Rollers assembly etc. are added & transformer is offered for inspection before despatch.
