I would like to apply for a structural engineer position vacant at this time. In August 1994, I received my Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. I had worked as a structural engineer in Alpha Consulting Engineers, Inc., San Antonio, TX from Sep. 1994 to Nov. 1995 and had worked as a junior structural engineer at Design & Engineering Department of Civil Works Division (Harbor and Offshore Structures) in Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Seoul, Korea from Dec. 1995 to Jul. 1997. As I had studied the Ph.D. program in Texas A&M University from Fall 1997, I had worked as a research assistant from Spring 1998 to Summer 2001. I received my doctorate in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University on August 11, 2001. I had worked for Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation, Houston, TX as a bridge engineer in structural division from Oct. 2001 to Jan. 2005. As a chief structural engineer, I had been working for TransAmerican Power Products, Inc. from Jan. 2005 to Jan. 2006. Now, I have been working for Mustang Engineering, L.P. as a principal technical advisor since Jan. 2006.
As a structural engineer I have performed the design and analysis work in Korean army, Korea, Alpha Consulting Engineers Inc., San Antonio, TX, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Korea, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, and Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation, Houston, TX. In addition, I have worked closely and effectively with other personnel. My experience, my academic record, and my analytical skills should qualify me to make positive contributions to your company.
