I am a Petroleum Engineer with over thirty (36) years total diversified experience with different Oil and Gas companies, e.g. Kuwait Oil Company, Saudi ARAMCO, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Ltd; ESSO Eastern Inc; OMV (Pakistan Exploration BmbH, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd.
My expertise are:
1 Production Operations of Oil & Gas Fields.
2 Design & Construction of Gathering/Distribution Pipelines and Associated Facilities.

Presently I am working at Azerbaijan (ex Soviet Union Country), on a special assignment.

OIL AND GAS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LTD. PAKISTAN
Worked as General Manager (Production). Managed Production operations of oil and gas Fields, Surface Facilities, Dehydration, Amine, Membrane, and Condensate Stabilization Plants etc. Field in the southern part of country were in operation with me. Secondary recovery technique were in operation, like jet pumps, water flooding for oil wells while gas recycling was carried out in condensate reservoirs.


January 2001 to July 2000
OMV Gmbh (Pakistan) Exploration , Pakistan
As Manger Prroduction, worked on preparation of EPC contract for the Amine Gas Sweetening Plant and field Facilities for Sawan Gas Field.

1992 - to 2000
KUWAIT OIL COMPANY, KUWAIT
Worked as Projects Engineer. Duties entrusted were design and construction of Well Head Assemblies, Gathering lines, Installation of Well Head and on line Surface Safety Systems.
Duties included Planning of Facilities, Materials Procurement and construction taking into account the company's three years development program.

Work also included assessing work scope, compiling technical specifications and bid documents, evaluating contractor bids, directing successful bidder during construction operation. The Construction Projects handled during a year ranged up to 20 Million KD (or US$ 66 Millions).

Carried out also Vendor evaluation. Manufacturers of Different items of Oil Industry Products were pre qualified based on their manufacturing experience, manufacturing facilities and International Oil Industry Standards Certifications.

Participated also (in M/S Bechtel left over project) for reconstruction of the Condensate Recovery Unit of one of the gathering centre which had been damaged during Iraq's invasion.


1987 - 1992
OIL AND GAS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, PAKISTAN
As Principal Engineer Pipeline (1987 -1990) my newly initiated Pipeline Section, headed by me replaced, M/S ENAR PETROTECH, the design contractor, and M/S Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd; the construction Contractor and arranged design and construction of Surface Facilities in all oil and gas fields of Pakistan.
As Field Manager Production Operations (1990 -1991) of Pirkoh and Loti Fields handled activities of the following Departments operating in the fields:

Production, Process, Civil Engineering, Pipeline Construction, Auto Workshop, Administration, Accounts, Security, Cementing/Stimulation, Coil Tubing Unit, Logistic/Rig Building, Communication, Logging, Drilling Departments.

As Chief Instructor (1991 - 1992) worked at the Oil And Gas Training Institute and arranged training of Petroleum Engineers and Field Operators, working in different fields of the country. This was done under a transfer of technology program of Alberta Advanced Education, sponsored by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Reviewed different studies/special projects' reports carried out in the organization.

1981 - 1986
ARABIAN AMERICAN OIL COMPANY (ARAMCO) SAUDI ARABIA
Worked as Reservoir Description Engineer in the Well Testing Unit of Reservoir Description Division. Worked on Onshore and Offshore Exploratory Wells. Monitored geological observations, logs, D.S.T'S results, R.F.T'S results, core analysis etc. and wrote Well Testing Programmes and witnessed the tests at site.
Carried out special tests like RFT, Side Well Coring Sampling/RFT After collecting field data and laboratory results worked in office and by using different computer programs and computer models/simulator made formation evaluation reports for reservoir estimation group.

Arranged also training of Petroleum Engineers for design and analysis of well's testing, who newly joined ARAMCO after completing graduation.


1979 - 1981
PAKISTAN PETROLEUM LTD;
Worked as Senior Production Engineer of Sui Gas Field. Arranged, installation, operation and maintenance of, gas wells, gas gathering system, internal corrosion control for wells and gathering lines, cathodic protection system, surface facilities, condensate recovery system. Carried out Well Testing and field surveys etc.


1977 - 1979
ESSO EASTERN INC, PAKISTAN
Worked as Production Superintendent of Mari Gas Field. Arranged installation, operation and maintenance of gas wells, gas-gathering system, Surface Facilities, Cathodic Protection of pipeline and wells casings. Carried out Well Testing and annual Back Pressure Survey.

Also arranged construction of the following during a field extension programme:

Well Head Assemblies, Surface Safety Systems, Gathering System, Scrubbing Facilities at gathering centre, Cathodic Protection of lines and well's casings, Internal Corrosion Control System

1971 - 1977
SUI NORTHERN GAS PIPELINES LTD; PAKISTAN
Worked as Pipeline (Distribution) Engineer and arranged design and construction of Pipelines, Metering Stations and Industrial Installations at different cities.

Gas Distribution network of Lahore City was laid. Many industrial enterprises were designed for conversion to gas consumption. Designed and installed, Town Border Station, Industrial Meter Stations. Worked also on Gas Metering and Billing.
