1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

10 years of experience, Sr HSE in off/onshore EPC projects. Holding training courses and certificates involving HSE ex (OSHA, RISK ASS’T, HAZIDHAZOP, PTW, HLO, …….. see updated C V ) Working in multinational/multiculture sites. Excellent English language. Holding wide range of courses and training that is beside the per project training in site (scaffolding-lifting gear inspection-witness the heavy lifting gear tests-H2S gas training-PTW – performing authority -new equipment training in site like pipe lay welding machines/cutting tools- modern radiography tools-). Supervising HSE team in both offshore construction barges and live or under construction platforms. Achieving many major projects for oil/gas/petro- chemical companies inside Egypt & Now I’m participating in commissioning phase for EPC project as main contractor of ARAMCO Saudi Arabia in the Arabian gulf to start job next December. I’m extracting my experience from the different standard & policies of all clients I’m dealing with like: BP TECHNIP ARAMCO UIONFENOSA STOLT ENI/PETROBEL and most of the Egyptian companies with their partners.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Currently I’m Sr. safety engineer based on/offshore in our company’s EPC projects mostly located in Red sea , Mediterranean sea & Arabian gulf ( now I’m participate in the commissioning phase of ‘ KJO ‘ Khafji Joint Operations which expected starting next November 2007 ), my role now is to liaise all ARAMCO safety requirements and verification for items related to the clients LPP loss prevention program (safe working procedures – crew competency/qualification control – project terms & condition – accident reporting – pre construction requirements – traffic safety – training matrix . . etc ).

Duties & Responsibilities
Further to the above but not limited to:
1) Assist the company site OIM in all HSE related aspects on the client’s platform and vessels.
-Managing/dealing with the critical operations : Heavy lifts / Tubing tripping / restricted platform shut down period / rig operation and development as the limited explosion for wells via frequencies bands / safety joint meeting onshore, on platform or onboard construction barges . . . )
-On the construction phase, such as: Hot work / NDT involving radioactive sources / scaffolding / works at heights / electrical appliances connection / erecting bridges / client specific tasks like using platform leg as guide or dead anchorage / approaching to client field / hammering op. / bunkering procedure /
-On the production issues, such as: High Voltage/Low voltage connections / instrumentation / well maintenance / hydro test for installed risers / permission for using incinerator / 2)Procedures review :
- Risk Analysis, Job Safety Analysis, as well as pre-job/toolbox meetings. - Participate to and audit Permits to Work - Review Safety compliance of procedures and programs coming from client to be agreed with both company and client - implementing the 500m zone protocol - client in/out traffic procedure - updating emergency contacts in the ERP and bridging documents as well - As per-situation requirements/changes preparing the needed MOC (Management Of Change) but meets regulations and standards (Permanent and temporary changes consideration).

3)SIMOPS aspects
- Maintain updated the SIMOPS file of a specific site/platform
- takes caring of the day to day HSE related items in a SIMOPS context.
-Takes caring the SIMOPs while working with complex platforms normally multistage operations (production, drilling, booster, turbines)
- Make sure tests required in SIMOPS are performed and documented (ESD, deluge system, hot work, etc)
to be complied with Procedures
4) Propose and supervise on site HSE compliance campaigns:
- HSE training ( Handling and Lifting, pinch points, ....)
- Audit H2S protection system ( training on EEBD emergency escape breathing device )
- Drop Object campaign, workshops routines , main stores , chemical store , engines overall maintenance . .
- Hygiene inspections on the living quarters mainly & food preparation areas
- QC Inspection of lifting gear (slings, cranes, shackles and bolts, gears color codes, safety pins, driver’s professional certificate.. etc) especially in heavy lifting operations with close review for the lifting plans issued by rigging department.
- Verify safe use and storage of dangerous goods
- Promote HSE on site, motivate personnel to safe behavior and organize information campaigns
- Participate to pre-job/toolbox meetings randomly
- Verify the agreement/complying with supply and crew boats to ensure their HSE performance is up to the CMS commissioning management system and Company/client references
- Liaises with Support Vessel and checks compliance with their own SMS

5) Reporting duties:
-Day to day safety report, weekly HSE report - Monthly Site Committee report - Spill reports : oil and chemical spill reporting as per procedures beside the planned specific drills - Incident / Near Miss reports
- Responsible for the coordination of Construction safety-related actions reported on Stream
- Ensure proper follow-up of working man-hours and HSE statistics to monitor Construction HSE (KPIs) key performance indicators as per procedure

6) Emergency situations
In case of an Emergency arising, perform the own duties and feed back/assist site OIMs (offshore instruction manager & offshore installation manager )
- Emergency response plan

7)Other duties
- Stop cards tracking: ensure adequate corrective actions are undertaken for most significant stop cards
- safety drills and check for compliance with project Contingency Plan
- In charge of Induction process for new incomers
-Receiving feedback from the offshore sites or from client to push any obstacles that may
affect on the project progress.
-activating the training of the fire & rescue team as the planned matrix (fire/abandon/SOPEP/ MEDIVAC / helicopter crash / platform gas leakage )
-keep PTW tracking
-leading site safety team normally one safety officer and four technicians while at offshore tasks. In onshore missions may be more crew added like: beach pull operations, dry docks, testing big rigs, works related to fab. yard . . etc
