The re-engineered design involved Delphi, Web Services, and BEA Weblogic application server running in a clustered mode and designed with Enterprise JavaBeans. The Oracle implementation was updated to 9i using RAC.
CopiersNow, Inc. – Denver, CO 7/2000 – 5/2001
Senior Internet Architect
This project’s solution involved utilizing IBM’s Websphere Commerce Suite configured on the front-end providing a customized storefront to the customers. An Intranet and Extranet utilizing IBM’s Websphere Application Server was implemented to monitor remote devices via WAP, dispatch service automatically when a problem was detected, perform remote billing utilizing WAP (in conjunction with Nextel and Skytel), and manage vendor orders of a virtual inventory. The backend system handling all financials was JD Edwards and Vertex. All of this was hosted on multiple tiers of Unix boxes and operated off multiple instances of Oracle. DB2 was utilized for the handling of auctions due to a Websphere operating requirement.
Some of these solutions included:
Systems Integration and support of the wireless billing system with any company that contracted the solution from CopiersNow.
Intranet system for delivery, support and fulfillment of requests from customers including wireless billing of service plans.
Management of the system integration of all new product lines introduced to the system and satellite offices (pricing, inventory, etc.).
Management and development of a data warehouse solution to accommodate all sales leads and their status. This included getting the leads to the appropriate local market representatives.
