PROD & MAINT. SUPV. OFFSHORE – Assignment to TOTAL Exploration & Production Qatar & Qatar Petroleum.
Assigned to Total Exploration & Production Qatar under the contract with Qatar Petroleum, Halul Island. Handled the Al-Khalij Oil Field production and maintenance of Oil Producing Wells, Water Injection Facilities, Oil Separation Plant, & Chemical Injection Facilities Hydro cyclone and Separation. Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance procedures for equipment used in petroleum production facilities. Procurement, planning & supervise general maintenance and repair activities of the Mechanical, Electrical and instrumentation disciplines in the offshore installation, in a safe and efficient manner, to maximize productivity throughout the effective use of all available resources. Ensure that all changes to Plant & Equipment are recorded in the file Procedure and carried out under the Company’s Process Risk Management Policy. Utilization of work procedures, including all necessary safety precautions base on JSA. Direct supervision and management of technical personnel in maintenance, repair and construction activities. Supervises personnel which typically includes recommendations for performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution. Supervises, coordinates, and monitors utility plant activities; maintains equipment and performs related duties to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Cogeneration units, air, gas compressors. Performs quality assurance inspections on all completed jobs; ensures conformance with international standards, mechanical codes, OSHA, regulations, lock out-tag out, confined space protocols, Material Safety Data Sheets, engineering specifications, and other local, and government regulations. Supervise pressure tests on piping and pressure vessels to ensure proper functioning. Organizes, maintains, and ensures proper use and care of an inventory of tools, test equipment, and supplies. Analyzes operational and maintenance data to predict operating inefficiencies and failures, and initiates pro-active repair of operating units, to enable continuous reliable and economic service with the use of software programme CMMS (Datastream7i) & SALSA (SAP) Modules for spare parts tracking and monitoring. Performs or supervises routine water, vibration, and lube oil analyses of all operating systems. Uses a computer to create, compose, and edit technical and/or administrative correspondence, reports, and documentation. Plans, schedules, and monitors all work being performed by contractors and physical plant employees within area of responsibility. Extensively uses, promotes, and trains personnel in the use of a computerized maintenance management system. Follows and promotes continuous improvement of divisional performance, and of safety and environmental policies and procedures. Works with operations personnel to achieve timely and efficient maintenance schedules; provides opportunities for training on routine preventive maintenance activities. Supervise the Start-up and Commissioning of the new producing wells and the work over down wells. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
