| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
For the attention of: The Personnel Manager
Dear Sir/Madam,
VACANCIES
I am writing to enquire whether you have any vacancies within your organisation, either now or possibly in the near future, for an individual of my skills and experience.
As you will see from my enclosed CV, I am currently employed as a Country Electrician for PGS Onshore based in Libya where I have full accountability for the supervision of junior and senior electricians employed on electrical jobs and new installations. I am responsible for diagnosing faults and for directing my team in their repair whilst ensuring that they comply with appropriate regulations. I now wish to develop my career further, and am therefore looking for a new and suitably challenging position.
I am committed to my own personal and professional development and, having now gained experience working in the international oil and gas industry, I have since completed the safety training necessary to transfer my skills to an offshore/onshore role.
I would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your organisation and I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
