Until end of June 2007 I was employed as the Captain on the NATO Research Vessel ALLIANCE, which is not military manned.
The Anglo Eastern Ship Management UK Ltd manages the vessel on behalf of NATO and the crew is international.
The maneuvering in narrow and very shallow waters is usually done by hand and since beginning of 2007, assisted by a DP Kongsberg system.

As you can see from my CV, I am well familiar with the handling of vessels between 70 meters and over 200 meters. ISM and ISPS is a standard working practice for me.
