2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Sr. HSE Advisor working out of main office: Oct 2005 to July 2007
Gulf Drilling International—Doha, Qatar UAE Middle East
Coordinate HSE training and did HSE Audits of 4 offshore Jack Up drilling rigs and 4 land rigs.
Liaise with oil companies and third party department heads for HSE policy and procedure compliance.
Coordinated ordering and purchasing safety equipment and insure the 8 rigs I was over were in compliance and supported them when issues would arise.
Assist HSE Manager & Drilling Superintendent in daily rig operations
Coordinate training for all rigs and did Injury Incident Free Training since I was a certified trainer.
Reviewed all rigs emergency drills and put together 4 offshore rig emergency response plans due to GDI being a fairly new drilling company.
Conduct daily calls e-mails and meetings with HSEO personnel that were under my supervision to insure a safe operation and help with any problems.
In charge of meeting any injured personnel and going to doctor or hospital to help coordinate any treatment needed,
Reviewed rigs Man over Board, spill drills, H2S drills and gave training on same.
In charge of rig pass program and gave the two day induction of all new employees to the company.
In charge of implementing and monitoring STOP program , following up on any issues of safety and tracking the data
Coordinate and implement the Permit to Work system making sure all permits were filled out properly, periodic on-sight checks and inspections to make sure all policies and procedures associated with the Permit to Work system were being done correctly and gave training to crew and supervisors on the proper use of the system.
Custodian of the Waste Management System
Sat on many different oil company committees as part of the in line stream team.
Was in charge of training personnel in Bow Tie Workshops and building of two safety cases for offshore Jack Up rigs.
Built list for all the safety equipment that would be needed for the three new builds of offshore Jack Up rigs. Insured equipment was ordered to specification and located in proper place as well as installed.
Confirmed the rig fire and safety plan was properly done and all items were in the proper place as per fire and safety plan before being submitted to ABS for approval.
