He has been employed as Instrument Technician on the Floating Production Storage and Offloading facility (FPSO MYSTRAS), located offshore Port Harcourt, Nigeria, since 6th September 2003.

The Instrument Technician duties include the maintenance, calibration and monitoring of all production/utility instrumentation in order to operate the facility in a safe and efficient manner. Troubleshooting of all production/utility instrumentation is also an integral part of his’ work scope.

He is fully acquainted with all the requirements involved with the Permit to Work system, and is fully acquainted with the company Safety & Environmental Policy (SEP).

The process is by nature of a volatile substance and as such requires an awareness of the dangers involved working on plant and equipment in this type of environment. He is fully aware of the dangers involved.

During the time I have known him I have found him to be a courteous, conscientious and very hardworking employee. When he is given a specific task, the task is completed with little or no supervision.

I would most certainly recommend any prospective employer to consider an employment application submitted by him to join their company, as I have no doubt he would be a valuable asset to its workforce.

For verification of the aforementioned I can be contacted as outlined below.
