Please consider this letter as my formal application presenting my background, education and experience.
I do have 14 years experience from many marine related areas such as machinery and engine room equipment, deck and hull.
In my current position as a Port Engineer with Seacor Marine (International), my work is to support the Seacor and Seabulk vessels operating off shore in West Africa.
This includes work such as repairs of most equipment, sourcing for spare parts, support to vessel by the help of the suppliers of equipment, logistics. My latest work is to modify a hotel barge to suite the charterer.
My previews position as a Service Engineer for the MaK (Caterpillar)Engine brand and my work scope
with MaK was to commission engines during the vessels building period, repairs of MaK
engines (old and new generation of engines), technical customer and yard support, engine
analysis and performance testing, failure analysis and spare part support.
