Permits to work, risk assessments, job packages, test sheets, I am also computer
Literate with word document and spreadsheets.

OCTOBER-06 TO PRESENT
Vetco aibel based in NORWAY, (FPSO-oil and gas). Installing
Sy/cy cables and terminating on the generators and turbines.
All hazardous areas using Ex equipment and glands,Traywork
And testing of cables, installing of screen cables and wiring of
Thermocouples, limit switches and instruments. I then took up
Teamleader position in charge of 20 man team getting the
Topside and turbines ready for commissioning, punchlist
And work package preparation. Motor checking and line
Checking of all circuits from, 24v to 415v. This was handed
Over to commissioning I am now on the LUN TEAM
(liveing up notices) in charge of accommadation, fire pump rooms, HVAC, heating, lifeboats, and lighting. Testing of circuits, turning circuits on and permits to work for all the
relevant isolations.


JAN 06-SEPT 06
FLINT ENERGY, CANADA. Based on the long lake project in fort mcmurray, Alberta. Traywork, glanding, terminating,
Testing and MIQ heatrace. I later took up the foreman’s position for the upgrader system. Heatracing of piperacks,
Wiring of power points and distribution. Also attended weekly
Progress meetings with QA/QC, plant manager, job also entailed constant inputs into the site computer on spreadsheets so all signing off of jobs and deadlines were met. It was a 12 man team on 1.5mile long piperack, fully heatraced, cables runs for distribution and installation of heat trace skids.

APRIL 02-JAN 06
LCA CONTROLS, RUNCORN. (field technician. Oil and gas)
Control and power installation at BP oil in Scotland, Shell stanlow, Aldermaston nuclear plant and Vauxhalls in cheshire.
I spent 2 years on the AMP 2 AND AMP 3 projects in the water industry, revamping clean water and sewage plants across the northwest of England. New pumps, control boards, motors, panels, safety showers, dcs systems, and lighting, all involving risk assessments permits and lock offs.

AT GROUP; SELLAFIELD NUCLEAR PLANT. Based on the SDP PROJECT, panel modifications and cable installations.
Working on the cranes, gamma plates, voltage separation,415v,240v,110v, and 24vdc. Installation of motors, power supplies, new plcs and relays. Also took up lead hand position for weekly mettings with BNFL engineers. Job package schedules, and handing over of systems. I gained my confined spaces, building controller and ioshh at sellafield.

SLS ENGINEERING, RUNCORN. QA/QC checking of plant equipment on a castner chemicals, line gauge testing, new distribution boards installs and DCS modifications.

Based at shell oil, STANLOW. Electrical modifications in control panels, relay logic, motor changeovers, also chagehand position at dista chemicals I Liverpool.

DUCOST ENGINEERING, BIRMINGHAM. Brand new build at land rover in Solihull, PLC MODBUS link up around the plant, instruments connected, robots wired and tested, SY and CY cables all terminted, earthing of plant and commission support for the last 2 months of the job.

CHESHIRE SYSTEMS, WIDNES, based at fords in Halewood installing proximity switches on 2 new lines, also glanding of armoured 240v feeds. Busbar links ups and testing of busbars.

C.S.S; CHESHIRE. Cable and tray installaton at Kodak in London, Octel power station, Angelsey, and at Scottish water, all existing works which needed updating and re-tesiting
