CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
To Whom It May Concern:
Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV. I would like to introduce myself to your company in the hope that you are looking for someone with my skills and personality to work for you in the oil industry.
Last week I invested in carrying out my basic offshore survival certificate and also have my medical to enable me to be of a benefit to your organisation.
Due to being unable to find a mechanical engineering job in my area when I qualified, I started employment with a local building contractor whom I have been working for, for the past 7 years, however I would love to work in a mechanical environment as this is my passion and drive in life.
I would be willing to accept any position that you feel would suit my skills and personality and only require 1 weeks notice. I would appreciate if you would contact me before seeking a reference from my current employer due to still holding a good working relationship with him.
You shall receive photocopies of my certificates and medical which will be forwarded to you by post. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

My aim in life is to work in Mechanical Engineering. I studied this for 4 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of my spare time is spent working with engines, as I like to modify/repair my cars, motor crossers , jet ski and other farm machinery on my fathers farm which I have helped out on from a young age. I have a very wide knowledge of mechanical engineering as a whole.
When working I am very safety conscious, hard working and dedicated. My friends/family would describe me as easy going with good communication skills, reliable and competent.
