I am a Post - Graduate Structural Engineer (CIVIL) with over 9 years of professional experience in structural steel design ( both member design and connection design), detailing and checking of conventional hot rolled structures( like Oil &Gas, Warehouse and Multi-Storey Structures ) & Pre Engineered Building structures in American and British standards. I have served in various capacities from "Senior Design Engineer" to " Project Leader " in reputed design & detailing organisations in Middle East and India ( Tiger Steel Engineering, UAE & iCAD Engineering, Bangalore ) for steel structures using the softwares STAAD PRO, M.B.S, DESCON, PROKON, X-STEEL & AUTOCAD –2006.
Also, I have a valid UAE driving licence.

I. TIGER STEEL ENGINEERING, SHARJAH, UAE

Tiger steel is an ISO company dealing with Design, detailing, fabrication and erection of conventional Hot rolled and PEB steel structures. It is a leading steel fabricator in UAE for heavy hotrolled ( like airport , Oil & Gas steel structures ) and PEB steel structures with annual production of 70000 Ton steel.

Position Held : SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER Sep-2004 till date

Role & Responsibility

1) Analysis and Design of steel structures, both Conventional hot rolled structures and Pre Engineering Structures using the software STAAD PRO and MBS.

2) Connection Design by using the Softwares (DESCON, PROKON & SPREAD SHEETS) and Manual calculations.

3) Checking of G.A & fabrication Drawings and project coordination.

Done number of projects in US and British standards using the codes UBC, MBMA, AISC-ASD & LRFD, NISD and BS5950. Also well versed with FEMA and OSHA regulations for steel structures.

PRESTIGIOUS PROJECTS DONE:

Conventional Hot rolled Projects

1) Cargo Mega Terminal for Dubai international Airport (Tonnage 10000 ): Analysis and Design of the members using STAAD PRO and connection Design using Descon and Inhouse developed spread sheets.

2) Duty Free Warehouse for Dubai international Airport (Tonnage 7000) : Analysis and Design of the members using STAAD PRO and connection Design using Descon and Inhouse developed spread sheets.


3) Yansaheb Petrochemical plant project, Saudi Arabia: for Technip, Italy ( Tonnage 17000 ): Connection Design of pipe racks in Saudi Arabia using the software Descon and Manual calculation.- Oil & Gas project.

4) Yemgas LNG project, Qatar : for Technip, Italy ( Tonnage 6000 ): Connection Design of pipe racks in Qatar using the software Prokon and Manual calculation.- Oil & Gas project.

Also done many projects ( tonnage 1000 to 5000) for clients like Bechtel ( England), Technip( Italy), Foster wheeler & Siemens ( France).
