I am new to the offshore industry, serving just over a year onboard the kittiwake platform as an operations technician. I feel that to further my education and experience is this field I need to work abroad on a longer shift pattern.
Previously I was a merchant navy cadet serving my time on Bulk Carriers and Ro-Ro ferries. I passed my Officer of the Watch Ticket (OOW/4th Engineer) and moved on to the oil and gas sector.
