1. Summary (Cover Letter)
I am looking for a long-term employment within Oil Service / Offshore industry.
I am currently employed by Adams Offshore Services Ltd as SDPO and Safety Officer on board DSV Adams Arrow inolved in various kind of DP operations.
My DP experience gathered while carrying out a wide range of survey / enviromental operations; Air Diving; ROV operations; well-test servicing and both top-side and underwater construction activities. I am fully conversant with the IMCA regulations and fully competent with all the practical operations of DP diving and the above-mentioned DP jobs. I have served in the offshore industries in the North Sea, Atlantic Ocean (W of Shetlands), Brazil, GOM, OSC US.
I am familiar with the following DP systems: Kongsberg SDP21, Alstom ADP21 and Nautronix ASK5002.
I carried out duties of Chief Officer for 3 years on Ro-Ro vessels and then almost 3 years on survey vessel. That time I became familiar with different Ship’s Maintenance Programs (AMOS D and M&P; PreMaster, NS5). I carried out duties of Ship’s Safety and Security Officer as well.

Sep 2005 Present Day “Adams Arrow”, Adams Offshore Services Ltd, Aberdeen, UK
Sailed as Mate / JDPO, and since Jun 2007 as Chief Officer / SDPO.
DP Class 2 DSV vessel, equipped with NAUTRONIX ASK5002 system (over 3300hrs as JDPO and 1000hrs as SDPO). Experience in air diving (over 800hrs), top side support construction works (excessive use of HPR and LTW, fanbeam), trenching operations, underwater construction activities. The vessel operates at Gulf of Mexico (Bay of Campeche and OSC US).
Dec 2004 Aug 2005 Sealion Shipping Ltd, Farnham, UK
Sailed as Mate / JDPO.
“Toisa Conqueror” – DP Class 2 – ROV supporter equipped with KONGSBERG SDP 21 system (500hrs). Working continuously with ROV, at open waters and close to constructions. The vessel operated in Brazil.
“Toisa Pisces” - DP Class 2 - Well Test Service Vessel equipped with Alstom ADP21 system (over 1000 hours). High standards of vigilance had to be maintained, as the vessel most of time operates connected to platform or semi sub (excessive use of fanbeam). The vessel operated at Gulf of Mexico (Bay of Campeche). Additionally, I carried on duties of Security Officer.
May 2004 Dec 2004 “Fugro Mercator”, Fugro Ltd, Aberdeen, UK
Sailed as Chief Officer / DPO. Working extensively with DP system KONGSBERG SDP 11, experience in various survey operations. Additionally, I carried on duties of Safety Officer and Security Officer.
April 2004 May 2004 “Jascon 5”, Offshore Contractors Ltd, Sleeuwijk, The Netherlands
(Temporary Job) Sailed as Mate / JDPO. DP Class 3 Pipelay, Accommodation, Construction Barge, equipped with KONGSBERG SDP 21 + SDP 11 system (60hrs). This short three weeks job allowed me to be familiar with pipelay operation (S-lay) (pipelay trials – full process of lay and recovery of the pipe), use of LTW and Hipap reference systems.
Aug 2002 Mar 2004 “Svitzer Mercator”, Svitzer / Fugro Survey Ltd, Great Yarmouth, UK
Sailed as Chief Officer / DPO. Working extensively with DP system KONGSBERG SDP 11, experience in various survey operations such as: side scan sonar and ROTV survey (also inside 500 m zones), 2D seismic survey, environmental surveys, vibro- and piston-coring, CPT (inside 500m zone), ROV survey. Additionally, I carried on duties of Safety Officer. The vessel operated mostly in the North Sea and adjacent waters.

Sailed as 2nd Off and since May 1999 as Chief Officer on ro-ro cargo ferries crossing English Channel. As Chief Officer I was in charge of cargo operations and dangerous goods separation. Additionally, I commission one of the Company’s new-build vessels before delivery to the owner.

Sailed as 2nd Off. on platform support vessel. The vessel was supplying fuel, pipes and others cargoes to platforms and pipe-laying barge. The vessel operated in the North Sea.
