DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

v Supports and directs activities concerned with maintenance, application and development of the Quality ESD system as applied to process instrumentation. System include are the TRICON V9 by Triconex, NORNE – Fail Safe Telemetry for Emergency Shutdown System Particularly the HIMA SELLA FASTLINK 4000, The A-Series Programmable Controllers by HIMA, SCADA System, and Allen Bradley’s PLC system.
v Maintenance, testing/commissioning, design/engineering, managing people were regular daily activities. Areas of C&I have been DCS, field equipments including all types of actuators, sensors and transmitters, analyzers etc., programmable PID and sequential controllers, recorders, protection & interlock circuits..
v Specification, procurement, & design .Updated & approved Foxboro I/A series DCS FBM nest loading. Approved DCS schematics: individual FBM
v Experience in I/O racks, overall Fieldbus/Allen-Bradley PLC Data Highway interconnect, & FBM loop diagrams. Purchased
v Weidmuller FBM digital I/O modules for DCS. Built & verified DCS instrument index. Updated & approved MCC oneline & elevation schematics, typical motor control schematics, & Cutler-Hammer IQ DP-4130 incoming power meter switch settings. Purchased MCC, power transformers, UPS, and heat trace wiring. Inspected four control panels: heater, expander, ESD relay, & MCC interposing relay. Developed function chart & sequence of events for expander control panel
v Direct/assists, peers with Field Technician engaged in the troubleshooting and faultfinding of the system with minimizing the loss of time.
v Project implementation regarding installation, calibration, commissioning and start-up. Equipment involved are DCS, PLC, and field instrument such as, Foxboro Intelligent Automation Series Transmitters, gas Chromatographs, Hand-held terminal calibrators and remote I-O modules, and other makes of field instruments such as Rosemount, Yokogawa, etc.
v Highly experienced in process controls utilizing Modicon, Allen-Bradley PLC's, Intellution and Wonderware SCADA systems, Analog and Digital Process Controls. Vast knowledge of operation and repairs of Allison
v Pre-commissioning and commissioning experience on two offshore fixed facilities. Electrical/Instrumentation Inspector on both projects. Worked with and supervised I/E contract crews during these projects.
v Assists in the specification, procurement, and detailed engineering design of Foxboro I/A series DCS, including Project Application Specification, control system architecture drawings, DCS compound names, offshore/onshore network data transfer protocol, and prototype test procedure. Built and verified DCS instrument index.
v Experience in instrumentation in petrochemical as well as captive power plant. Design, selection, P&ID checking, control and trip logic/complex schemes implementation, commissioning and maintenance of variety of field and control
v Work with instrumentation systems like TDC 3000 and CENTUM CS DCS, AB 5/60 PLC,AUGUST PLC, HIMA PLC etc.
v Highly experienced in process controls utilizing Modicon, Allen-Bradley PLC's, Intellution and Wonderware SCADA systems, Analog and Digital Process Controls. Vast knowledge of operation and repairs of Allison and Solar dual fuel Turbine engines. Pre-commissioning and commissioning experience on 2 offshore fixed facilities. Electrical/Instrumentation Inspector on both projects. Worked with and supervised I/E contract crews during these projects.

v Maintenance supervision of onsite and offsite instrumentation personnel in coordination with the CCR operators to avoid time loss in production.
v Works with the project teams to correct noncompliant areas and generally to improve the system.
v Supports the quality costs system, especially the collection of cost data.
v Supports subcontractor and subcontractor materials qualification, including evaluations, input to approve subcontractor lists, reporting and follow-up.
v Develops standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, including development of workmanship standards or samples as required.
v Directs/assists peers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
v Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality processes and activities.
v Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
