• Installing avionics modifications on UH-60 and CH-47 model aircraft.
• Perform aircraft reset on CH-47’s to include system troubleshooting, component and wire bundle cleaning, systems operation checks, and wire repair. Performed all necessary maintenance to return aircraft to full mission capable status. Systems worked on were VHF navigation, UHF VHF HF radio systems, GPS, SATCOM, etc.

• Avionics shop desk sergeant in charge of employing up to 20 marines and managing workload for up to 30 aircraft.
• I was a Collateral Duty Inspector /Q.A. Representative my last year in the Marines. It was my responsibility to inspect the maintenance of junior Marines for quality of maintenance, safety of flight, and function of components and systems, on top of my regular technician duties.
• Fault isolation troubleshooter for two separate airframes (UH-1N, AH-1W).
• Performed scheduled phase inspections and unscheduled maintenance troubleshooting systems including; GPS, TACAN, Radar Altimeter, VHF UHF HF radio systems, 1553 data bus, HUD system, FLIR/NTS, TOW Missile, Hellfire Missile, Doppler navigation, VHF navigation, SATCOM, etc. I used all corresponding test sets to test and repair aircraft avionics systems.
• Received Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during Operation Iraqi Freedom for the repair of a wire bundle damaged by small arms fire. Repair was projected to take four days, aircraft was returned to full mission capable status in two days vice four.
• Other awards include Presidential Unit Citation, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Two Meritorious Masts, and a Letter of Commendation.
