I am a Drilling Fluids Specialist who is currently looking for an interesting oppertunities to work either on staff or as a consultant. I have had a varied career in Drilling Fluids in a number of diverse international locations. For the last year I have worked principally for oil and gas operators. Currently I am available to begin as soon as possible.

Woodside, Libya: Drilling Fluids Specialist Sept-2006- Nov 2007 : Technical and operational focal point for all aspects of drilling fluids and solids controls. Assessing tenders and developing tenders for onshore operations. Developing and ensuring that HSE aspects of drilling fluids are met. Providing technical and administrative support to the ongoing operation in all aspects of drilling fluids. Developing training for local staff. This included developing their fluids quality management systems, developing the fluids operational manual for both the engineers and coordinators. Developing the technical field service manual. • Oversaw a lab development project for a water-based fluid to drill the build section through sloughing shales. Conventional wisdom suggested only an OBM fluid could be used. The section was successfully drilled and cased
