I have over 16 years experience in the engineering consultancy for upstream oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, polyester and allied fields. I am based as a mechanical and piping engineer and am well versed in Greenfield and Brownfield projects for Concept selection, conceptual front end development and detailed design. Presently I am Lead mechanical engineer approved by Brunei Shell and Brunei LNG for the present service contract with Shell working through Petrokon Utama SDN BHD (www.pusbrbrunei.com) a premier consultant based in Brunei

I have experience with both Onshore and Offshore projects. I am well versed with Shell standards /practices for Oil and Gas apart from all major International standards having worked for Shell companies the last 7 years.

I have 5 years experience working for PDO Shell projects in Muscat, Oman prior to working in Brunei having worked with Electrowatt (part of Pooyry group(www.energy.poyry.com )

Prior to Electrowatt I worked with AkerKvaerner, Mumbai, India dealing with varied projects as Lead Piping Engineer for over 9 years. During this time I was also deputed to Praxair, Buffalo, Tonawanda, USA for front end engineering.

• SERIA NORTH FLANK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT- Review Concept and Detailed Design
 A Greenfield Offshore Drilling Platform, four- legged steel jacket structure with 13 well slots. Scope includes gas injection and water injection Offshore with pigging facilities. Onshore scope includes bulk separator, export pumps, water injection pumps, tie in facilities. The entire facility is engineered using PDMS.

• SERIA NORTH FLANK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT- Conceptual and Detailed Design
 A Brownfield Onshore project to support the Offshore facility involving nee Bulk Separator, Pipeline receiver facilities, CI skid, crude export pumps , associated tie in works for gas lift and water injection facilities.

• CHAMPION 7 GLYCOL REGENERATION UNITS REPLACEMENT- Conceptual Design and Detailed Design
 Replace the existing gas based glycol regeneration units Offshore with two new prcured units electrically heated. Scope includes diversion from Contactors to temporary facilities, tie ins and addition/procurement, evaluation of new skids in CPGP 07.BFD prepared by Shell Global Solutions.

• BLNG TANK T-4102 FIRE WATER PROJECT- Detailed Design
 Scope includes executing the detailed design based on FED report prepared by Shell Global Solutions for combating the various fire scenarios at and around LNG storage tank (52 m diameter, 44 meters height). Additional fire water subheaders, monitors, spray systems, deluge valves and bypass manifolds are to be engineered and installed.

• Champion South East Phase 2 & Block 13,14 Pipelines –Detailed Design
 Under (Champion Offshore) CPSE Phase 2 development project, shallow/depleting reservoirs of Blocks 13 & 14 would be supported by secondary recovery process by using injection water (spare capacity) from the existing CPWA07 waterinjection platform. A total of 9 water injector and 4 oil producer wells are planned to develop these reserves. The project scope consists of Installation of 5 nos. new HDPE internal lined Carbon Steel Subsea pipelines, installation of 5 nos. new Subsea CI umbilical lines, CI skids, Solar panels etc. Engineering Co ordination with 3rd Party Pipeline Consultant.

• SERIA CRUDE OIL TERMINAL (SCOT) BOOSTER PUMPS PROJECT-Conceptual and Detailed Design
 Scope includes addition of 5 new Booster pumps in SCOT upstream of the export pumps, associated suction and discharge headers for light/heavy crude.

• CP07 Water Injection Header Replacement Detailed Design-
 Replace the existing WI injection due to both internal and external corrosion following over twenty years service to ensure that injection of water to the Champion Offshore Field is adequate and sustained into the future by replacement of existing DN600 Water Injection Header with a new header through CPWA07/CPRP07/CPGP07/ CPWA07-CPRP07 BRIDGE.

• INTELLIGENT PIGGING PROJECTS
 Various projects for BSP for Intelligent Pigging design on existing facilities both Onshore and Offshore using ROSEN pigs.

• CPLQ07 ACCOMMODATION REPLACEMENT
 Add new portacabins on the redundant helideck on the platform. Provide utilities including new potable water pumps , UPVC pipework.

• CPDP 31- Champion Drilling Platform Power Facilities- Conceptual and Detailed Design
 Offshore Platform extension and installation of new solar panels.

• BLNG LDS Piping Replacement- Detailed Design
 Replacement of the existing liquid disposal cryogenic piping with new piping at Brunei LNG plant. Engineering involves stress analysis of complex cryogenic pipework and detailing special cryogenic supports.

• Onshore Firewater system replacement- Conceptual/Detailed Design
 Replacement of the existing carbon steel corroded firewater network branches/sub-headers with GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) material approximately 65 kms of pipeline network. In addition Project scope involves installation of new Firewater pumps at Water Treatment Plant and Rasau Production station as per NFPA requirements, and a new FW storage tank at Rasau Production station. Activities involved working out the Value Engineering options, Conceptual & Detail Design including HAZID/HAZOP, Engagement of 3rd party Pipeline consultant, In-house engineering co-ordination.
• Installation of new ULLG pipeline – Onshore - Conceptual/Detailed Design
 Installation/Hook-up of a new 5” ID ULLG (Unstabilised Lumut Light Gasoline) pipeline using RTP (Reinforced Thermo Plastic) material approx. 20 kms long from BLNG to SCOT. This pipeline would be routed along the same corridor as that of existing 4” CS line and would allow export bigger capacity (approx 2,500m3/day), together with existing line. Engineering Co ordination with 3rd Party Pipeline Consultant.
• Diesel pipeline Replacement – Onshore- Conceptual/Detailed Design
 Installation/Hook-up of a new 4” Diesel pipeline using GRE material, approx. 20 kms long from ROS to KBBS. Engineering Co ordination with 3rd Party Pipeline Consultant.

• BSP ASSET VALVES -Detailed Design-
 Scope includes executing the Conceptual and detailed design for replacing automatic, manual and relief valves within the BSP Assets in the units of BLNG plant.
• CPCB07 Fuel Gas Upgrade - Conceptual/Detailed Design
 This project involved modifications in the existing Fuel Gas conditioning skid at CPCB07 (Offshore platform) to improve the performance. This includes rearrangement of existing equipment, re-routing piping, addition of new Filter Separator etc.

• Permanent East Mol Drag Reducer Chemical Injection Project- Conceptual /Detailed Design

• BLNG TANK T-4102 FIRE WATER PROJECT- Detailed Design
 Scope includes executing the detailed design based on FED report prepared by Shell Global Solutions for combating the various fire scenarios at and around LNG storage tank (52 m diameter, 44 meters height). Additional fire water subheaders, monitors, spray systems, deluge valves and bypass manifolds are to be engineered and installed.

• Champion South East Phase 2 & Block 13,14 Pipelines –Detailed Design
 Under (Champion Offshore) CPSE Phase 2 development project, shallow/depleting reservoirs of Blocks 13 & 14 would be supported by secondary recovery process by using injection water (spare capacity) from the existing CPWA07 waterinjection platform. A total of 9 water injector and 4 oil producer wells are planned to develop these reserves.
