Over 14 years experience in working with reputed multicultural and global organization wide expose Pre-commissioning Commissioning, normal plants operation Offshore / Onshore Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemical Plants in the capacity of Operator, Sr.Operator and Panel operator.
Presently I am working with Total Abu Al Bukhoosh Offshore Abu Dhabi UAE, Production Operator since August 2005 29/28 rotation with home ticket.
I have worked with Presson Descon International as a Commissioning Operator DCS PLC (Allen Bradley) on MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Field Gurguri Karak from November 2004 to June 2005.
I have worked with Ibn Rushd (SABIC) Saudi Arabia on Aromatics Petrochemical plant, mostly involving in H2/C1 to C10 plus Hydrocarbons from August 1997 up to 4th January2004 as a Process Operator.
I have two years Apprentice Ship certificate from Pakistan Refinery Ltd in the trade of Process
I have worked with Pakistan Refinery Ltd as a process operator, from July 1993 to August 1997.
I have worked with Bosicor Pakistan Ltd (Refinery) as a Senior Operator/Panel Operator from January 2004 up to April 2004.

August 2005 to now, Position- Production / Panel Operator:
Working with – ABK OFFSHORE ABU DHABI UAE
Presently I am working with ABK UAE Offshore DCS TDC-3000 Honeywell 640 MMSCFD natural gas Highly sour 20000 PPM H2S contained,12000 bpd condensate and 35000 bpd crude processing facilities, the offshore platform is operating four trains of TEG Unit,MDEA Amine sweetening unit, HP and LP Gas recovery Compressors,GLP,GIC, Nitrogen Generator unit and associated utilities.

Major Area of Operation:

• T.E.G Dehydration Unit.
• Amine Sweetening Unit (MDEA)
• HP LP Gas Recovery Centrifugal Compressors Gas Turbine Driven.
• Test Separator
• Nitrogen Generator Unit And Associated Utilities

November 2004 to June 2005, Position - COMMISIONING OPERATOR
PRESSON DESCON INTERNATIONAL (PVT) LTD

• I have worked as Commissioning Operator with Presson Descon International Ltd. (Joint Venture of Pakistan/Canada) on MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Project.
• My Responsibilities Black Startup Pre – Commissioning / Commissioning Activities of MOL Gas Field.

Major Area of Operation:

• MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas NWFP Gurguri Gas Field is a High Pressure Natural gas and condensate gas field Control System DCS (PLC Allan Bradley), Consisting Turbo Expander Re – Compressor(TTI), Glycol Dehydration unit (TEG), inlet separator, K.O drum, Glycol contactor, Low Temperature Separator, condensate Heater, Condensate Stabilization unit and Utilities area.

January 2004 to April 2004, Position - Sr.Process and Panel Operator:
Bosicor Pakistan Limited (PETROLEUM REFINERY)

• The refinery has 30000 bpd crude processing facilities and the major refinery products are Motor gasoline, LPG, Naphtha, Kerosene, HSD, Furnace oil, Jet fuel & Hydrogen gas.

Crude Distillation Unit (CDU
Comprising of crude desalting facilities, pumps, fractionating columns, natural draught furnaces



Hydro Treater
Produces treated sweet naphtha for plat former feed. The unit comprising of semi regenerant down flow reactor, reciprocating hydrogen compressor, heater.
The unit has DCS control system.

Plat former Unit
Produces aromatics/platformate from naphtha feed. The unit comprising of semi regenerant down flow reactors with UOP, R- 56 catalyst, recycle gas compressor, heaters, exchangers and columns.
The unit has DCS control system.
LPG Unit
LPG recovery and purification unit, comprising of De-Ethanizer, De-Propanizer & De-Butanizer columns.

Responsible for overall operations of the processing plant and supervise the following aspects:
• Start-up, running and shutdown of equipment, monitoring of product quality.
• Handling of Process Abnormalities.
• Identify and develop site modifications through to execution approval stage, and provide support to others for project execution.
• Monitoring plant and personnel safety plans.
• Assist to Shift In charge in Plant Operation.
• Monitoring Data logging and plants parameters.


August 1997 to January 2004, Position - Process Operator:
IBN RUSHD (SABIC) AROMATICS PLANT, Saudi Arabia

• The plant is based on UOP Technology, using Propane & Butane (LPG) as a feedstock (40000bbls/day) for the production of Aromatics (CYCLAR PROCESS with high Capacity CCR unit).
• The plant capacity is 3750000MTY of PARAXYLENE & 350000 MTY of BENZENE.
• Involved in the erection and commissioning of plant and was responsible for the entire operation and trouble shooting of the plant during shifts, also lead the team of DCS operators and field operators.
Feed Preparation Unit
Comprising Propane and Butane storage, feed guard beds, fresh feed driers, feed vaporize and associated rotating equipment.

Cyclar Reactor Unit
Comprising 4 stacked radial flow catalytic reactors, reactor feed / effluent exchangers, fuel gas fired forced draft heathers with BMS system and MP steam generation unit.

Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR)
This is a unit of 6000lbs/hr capacity, comprising of catalyst lifting system Hydrogen stripping from the catalyst in Lock Hoppers, burning of coke in regenerator, turbo driven condensing type (Kawasaki) regeneration gas centrifugal compressor.

Product Recovery Unit
Comprising low pressure and high-pressure separators, turbo driven condensing type LP and HP compressors (Dresser – Rand / 26190 KW / Woodward 505 Governor operated). Condensers, recycle gas driers, stripper, absorber clay treaters, gas fired reboilers and associated rotating equipment.

Gas Recovery Section
Comprising PLC operated regeneration unit, PLC operated PSA pressure swing absorbers for the 99.9% Hydrogen recovery.

July 1993 to August 1997 Process Plant Operator:
• Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), Karachi, Pakistan
• Completed on-job training and worked with PRL on the Fuel Refinery Plant with capacity of 50000 bbls/day.
• The major refinery products are Motor gasoline, LPG, Naphtha, Kerosene, HSD, Furnace oil, Jet fuel & Hydrogen gas.
