1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear Sir or Madam:.
I currently work for Petronas Carigali in Exploration division as a Geophysicist. I am looking for a more challenging position to apply my skills and 9 years experience as a Geoscientist in oil and gas industry.
As a geophysicist my job mainly focuses on geophysical part.
I am proficient in landmark software. That means I am also familiar with project creation & Admin and Data loading & managing beside interpretation part.
Normally I use SEISWORK for interpretation, Z-MAP for mapping, DEPTHTEAM Express for Velocity model.
I also use GeoFrame Charisma for interpretation and CPS-3 for mapping and modeling depending on the project requiring.
Sometimes I use Petrosys for mapping.
For volume interpretation I use Landmark Geoprobe and Paradigm 3D Canvas.
For well correlation I use Landmark StratWork and Schlumberger Petrel.
I also use Petrel for structure modeling which is the core of Petrel software.
For seismic inversion I use Jason software and Hampson-Russell Strata. Currently I seldom use Jason due to license limited in company, only 1 license available.
For AVO study I use Hampson-Russell AVO software and LandMark Well Seismic Fusion.
If the pre-stack seismic data is available I will use Landmark Promax to do some processing and attribute analysis.
If the seismic data is fully stacked or angle stacked I will use Landmark PostStack to do some processing and attribute analysis.
I also do the 2D, 3D seismic acquisition design and reprocessing plan for future exploration activity.
I prepare the slides for the presentation to my supervisor and the report of geophysical part.
Please see details in my CV to get the projects information.
I hope that, on consideration of my CV, you will be persuaded of my potential to perform well on this job and to make a real contribution as a member of your firm. I look forward to hearing from you.

To continue my education and further my study, in 2001 after passing the examination I went back to the University of Petroleum China for my Master degree. My Master degree was geophysics, it expanded my knowledge scope. My study included 1 year course, 1 year related research and 1 year working practice. After obtaining the Master degree in Geophysics in 2004, I worked for BGP, CNPC international. In 2005 I joined PETRONAS as Geophysicist.
