Profile:

More than 20 years within the Quality Control environment working on various oil and gas projects for onshore and offshore facilities, having worked as QC Engineer and supervisor as well as a proficient NDT Co-ordinator which is proven by my years of experience and continuance of employment within the QC aspect of the industry. I have also performed as Clients representative ensuring Contractors Quality management systems and QC systems are followed and continually monitored by performing audits or attending selected audits detailed within the agreed Project audit schedule. During the 20 years I have had to work to various Specific Project Specifications as well as national codes such as ASME B31.3 ASME IX, ASME VIII. API.1104, BG. PS. P9, API. 650, ASME. GOST, SNIP (Russian regulations.) and ISO 9001

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Working on refinery projects in various countries, on land pipe lines, vessel inspection and have been involved in two FPSO topside construction.

Nov 2006 to PRESENT: SONANGOL PESQUISA PRODUCAO FPSO GIMBOA ANGOLA. CONSISTING OF SEVEN TOPSIDE MODULES CONSTRUCTED AT ADYARD COMPANY ABU DHABI AND LAMPRELL JEBEL ALI.

QC Engineer for Saipem Project Management team which was a repeat Design Project as Employed during 2002 to 2004.
Key Responsibilities.
- Monitoring contractor’s fabrication stages of primary and secondary structural steel and process pipe work. Visual welding inspection and radiographic interpretation of completed structure and pipe work. Monitoring subcontractor’s fabrication of separator vessels. Other duties included painting and coating inspection and witnessing destructive tests of coatings. Inspection of internal vessel coating review of hydrotest test packs witnessing hydro testing and final reinstatement of lines. Final review of vendor supplied data books and all associated documentation.
- On the completion of the fabrication and testing of the installed systems in both fabrication yards my responsibilities also included the consolidation of all documents generated through all facets of the construction phase of the project. This was required to be co-ordinated with ABS to attain sailing certification for the completed vessels

SECOND GENERATION AND SOUR GAS INJECTION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT TENGIZ CHEVROIL KAZAKHSTAN.

Client QC Engineer
Key Responsibilities.
Overseeing Contractors Quality System and fabrication and inspection processes during fabrication of pipe spools amounting to seven thousand tons Inspections performed were in line with specific Inspection and Test Plan mark and included, daily welding inspection, radiographic interpretation dimensional check of fit up prior to welding, final dimensional check of completed spools, monitoring post weld heat treatment, monitor surface preparation of spools prior to painting, final inspection of painting prior to release for shipment.
Also assigned to monitor Quality performance and control of audit findings and corrective actions as well as non conforming product control and close out as well as review of Final Documentation packages for completed spools. After completion of spool fabrication I was assigned to SGI plant area to oversee site construction activities and review of completed systems prior to the Kazak regulatory authorities review and acceptance.


Aug 2002 to April 2004 OKONO AND OKPOHO FIELD’S DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FPSO NIGERIA. CONSISTING OF TWELVE TOPSIDE MODULES CONSTRUCTED AT GULF PIPING COMPANY ABU DHABI AND LAMPRELL JEBEL ALI.

Oct. 2000 to Jul. 2002 SAIPEM S.p.A. KARACHAGANAK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT KAZAKHSTAN. INFIELD PIPELINES CONSISTING OF 1300KM. INJECTION AND GAS GATHERING SYSTEMS AND WELL HEADS.
QC Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a Quality Control department of 20+ personnel that were responsible for QC and documentation of activities associated with civil, mechanical, piping and pipeline activities including welding procedure qualification and witnessing mechanical testing.
- Also responsible for conducting internal audits on Quality system as well as performing audits on sub-contractors and also liaise with Clients representative during their scheduled audits.
- Pre-hydro test inspection and witnessing hydro testing of piping and pipelines including re-injection and gas gathering systems.
- Ensure all ROK regulatory requirements were being followed in relation to GOST, SNIP and all associated AKTS were produced for the relevant activities.

Mar. 2000 to Sep. 2000 RENCO S.p.A. KARACHAGANAK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT KAZAKHSTAN
QC Mechanical Welding and Piping Inspector
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising mechanical and piping activities including welding procedure qualification witnessing mechanical testing site inspection of piping and piping spools. Inspection of pipeline coatings pre-hydro test inspection and witnessing hydro testing of fuel gas lines and utility lines. Other responsibilities included conducting internal audits also responsible for inspection of sub contractor’s works and associated activities.

ADNOC Bab - Maqta - Taweelah Gas Pipeline Project consisting of 120 Km. of 42” and 52 Km. of 36” pipeline. Jabel Dhannah - Ruwais Pipeline consisting of 22 Km. Of 30” pipeline. The project included revamp of existing gas receiving stations and construction of new stations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct relevant procedure and welder qualification test. Witnessing welding to mechanical testing (API 1104 ASME IX). Coordinating welding inspectors and welding inspection. Monitoring N. D. T. Requirements. Inspection of pipeline coating PP system
- Responsible for inspection of hot tap welding to British Gas Specifications.
- Inspection of critical tie-in welding and special fittings. Pre-hydro test inspection and compiling mechanical certification for inclusion into test packs. Materials used were Super Duplex, Duplex, Stainless, Inconel, Low Temperature Carbon steel and Carbon steel.
