Dear Sir / Madam,
I write this letter to you to enquire about any potential job opportunities as AB within your company which you may be able to offer me. I am 24 years of age and have been working in the offshore sector since 2002, employed with Seacor Marine (International) Ltd based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. I hold a full UK drivers licence and passport and will be more than willing to travel to whilst joining or leaving a vessel.
My current position within Seacor is as a fully qualified Able Bodied seaman and Fast Rescue Coxsun, all of my present certificates and qualifications are listed in the CV attached to this letter. I am a very hard worker and always willing to learn and I believe that I can become a valuable member of any crew.
Seacor at present operate a month on month off rotation of their vessels crews, I am currently on shore leave, but will be joining my ship again, 1st February 2008. I hope that everything I have provided is in order and to your satisfaction and I shall be looking forward to receiving a reply from you in the near future.
