Given a suggestion to recover the heat from caustic evaporation system and the same recovered by installing a falling film evaporator to concentrate the incoming caustic soda at 33% to 35% for 100 MT/day of production. There by saved 15% fuel consumption.
Minimized 50% of effluent generations in Chlorine toners washing & testing station, by adopting recycle method. The test water separated and used for upcoming cylinders by installing a bag filter and separate tank, thereby saving water too.
Installing a Plate type heat exchanger to recover the heat from the product to feed caustic in caustic in caustic evaporation plant. There by saving 2% fuel per ton of caustic production. Daily production of caustic is 100 TPD.
Reductions of water consumption in cooling tower by improve the feed water quality. Instead of raw water to evaporator condensate there by saving significant improvement in the cooling tower operation and its performance.
Identified and modified the Deaerator pump suction strainer and improved the pump NPSH and performance of the pump thereby recovered heat from the Sulphuric acid plant.
