• General - Over 20 years of demonstrated accomplishments in the field of technical welding , construction management, complex fabrication, QA/QC, quality systems and NDT, in the oil/gas, nuclear, pressure vessel, aerospace, civil/structural-construction, heavy manufacturing industries as a inspector, welding engineer and consultant to include:
- Onshore and offshore fabrication front end engineering-design review (FEED) QA/QC management, consulting, specification development, fabrication oversight, supply chain development and critical welding/NDT procedure qualification and inspection management for sub-sea engineered components, pipelines, production and replacement riser systems; sub sea plets, manifolds, trees, SCR’s for previous and on-going work in the GOM for FMC, BP America, BHPB, Enbridge pipeline, Oil States Industries and others. Extensive sub sea and topsides fabrication experience.
- Civil construction, erection of structural buildings/bridges, movable, fixed, cable stayed and fracture critical bridge fabrication as well as Structural building repairs and retrofits. Knowledge of ICC, IBC BOCA, ICBO OSHA, AWS, AISC, ACI, ASTM, FEMA 350, 353, SBC, numerous DOT, AASHTO, NSBA, SSPC codes and standards. Current ICC Structural Special Welding Inspector Certified.

• QA/ Project Consulting - Experience in ITP/MQPQ (quality-inspection tests plans) development for large structural- jackets, piles manifolds, Y-Plets, on-shore pipelines, sub-sea equipment-PIP, SCR’s, Flow lines/, high rise buildings, FC bridges, event-stadiums, power plant walk downs, nuclear ISI, aerospace-NADCAP compliant, petro-chemical, pressure vessel inspection, skid and spool piping fabrication packages. Have worked abroad to include-Asia, Brazil, Mexico, UK, South America and Canada. Current passport.
• Served as the SCR consulting Welding Engineer under contract to FMC Energy (previous) DVA group on multiple projects for the Sub Sea and direct vertical access work groups. Provide Contract technical welding consulting to various projects and subject matter expert to supply chain group.
• Technical Publications –A published author of over 12 papers/articles relative to welding, quality, weld shop automation, performance qualification and NDT auditing, API 1104 in trade journals, i.e. AWS Welding Journal, Structural Engineer, Practical Welding Today, AWS Inspection Trends. Author of the ISA Structural Welding Guide for sign installers published and copyrighted in 2006 by the International Sign Association.
• Independent Consulting –Worked independently as a consultant/inspector AWS-SCWI/ASQ-CQA/ASNT Level III to industry for over 18 years and have provided measured cost savings and improved productivity through training, reduced re-work/ CpK, efficient work practices and procedures. Have contracted as a quality auditor for the AISC Quality Certified Fabricator Program, the AWS Accredited Welder Test Facility & AWS Certified Welding Fabricator Programs and the SAE-PRI/NADCAP supplier audit program for the Aerospace welding task group and various major Oil companies.

Contract to FMC Technologies, Sub sea- Houston, BP America, BHPB, Enbridge Pipeline as technical subject matter Welding Engineer consultant responsible for up to (12) shop, sub-vendor welding procedure qualification reviews, welding program audit and establishing liaison for supply chain management and assuring vendor meets customer and end user requirements. Primary riser welding engineer to the direct vertical access group for API and ECA based welding qualifications and project requirements based upon based design requirements. Supervise and provide contract inspection/surveillance services to various organizations with typically 8 full-time CWI-Specialized Technical Specialists.

Provide contract/consulting, training and inspection services to contractors, chemical and oil companies, major structural fabricators, pressure vessel/piping manufacturers and engineering/inspection organizations. Prepare, implement and monitor Quality Manuals/Systems, ITP’s to API, NBIC, AWS, ASME, DNV, EN, ABS, NQA-1, AS 9000/9100 and ISO standards. Conduct vendor surveillance, audits and inspection as per ITP’s and customer requirements.
