I have international qualifications of Nebosh and IOSH, UK and I am a member of international Institute of risk and safety management, (MIIRSM, UK) & TechIOSH, UK.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

PERIOD : AUGUST 2005 – PRESENT
COMPANY : PETROFAC INTERNATIONAL LTD COMPANY BASED IN ABERDEEN,UK
CLIENT : GREATER NILE PETROLEUM OPERATING CO. (CONSORTIUM OF PATRONS, MALASIA & SUDAN)
Position : QHSE Advisor for Sudan project
The job involved HSE coverage as Maintenance and operations contractor both upstream and downstream activities for about 450 personnel. The GNPOC pipe line 28 inch 1500 km long pipe line with 6 intermittent Pump stations transport the produced crude oil from the blocks to Marine terminal. Two refineries fed from the pipeline at ELobied and Khartoum. The Marine terminal has storage tanks of 3.2 million barrels. Crude oil is loaded to tankers by a single buoy point mooring system in red sea. . My job was HSE coverage for the GNPOC facilities, As a contractor for Maintenance Training and Overhauling and managing the facilities for our client GNPOC I had a extensive role to play with GNPOC HSE and Operations department covering training, risk assessment, procedure, planning etc. I was spending equal time at site and office locations as per the Programme. The Marine terminal storage tanks and oil export required lot of safety and fire aspects to be covered especially during hot work. Also HSE audits with the client for tankers and vessels were included in my role.
All the pump stations and marine terminal were equipped with Centrifugal heavy Pumps powered by dual fuel engines(crude & Diesel) and generators of high voltage for power generation both of make Watsila and Rolce Royce in pumping stations, shipping stations and booster stations which required HSE aspects to be taken into consideration prior to work like Permit and isolation. I also developed various new procedures and plans. The overall HSE record was excellent with Client issuing letter of appreciation for the good HSE performance and the efforts to promote with the client HSE department. The project also achieved million man hours with out any LTI which was considered a major achievement for international locations of Petrofac considering the fact of hardship location & availability of resources hence was highly appreciated by Top management. Petrofac was also adjudged the best contractor with respect to HSE achievements, improvements in whole for the year 2007.
PERIOD ; JULY 2004 TO AUG 2005 (
COMPANY : DODSAL PTE LTD.(AN ISO 9001,140001 &18001 COMPANY, SPECIALIST IN PIPE LINE REFINERY CONSTRUCTION ,EPC)
CLIENT : PETRODAR OPERATING CO AND TAKREER (ADNOC) AT ABU DHABI
POSITION : HSE OFFICER AT SUDAN AND ABUDHABI
BEING AN OIL GAS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT THE TOTAL NO. OF PERSONNEL INVOLVED WERE 900 AND IT WAS A LARGE PROJECT. SCOPE INCLUDED INSTALLATION OF MUSMAR TO PORT SUDAN SEGMENT OF BELOW GROUND CROSS COUNTRY PIPELINE OF 283 KMS OF 32” DIA, API 5L X-65 + X 70 LINE PIPES ( 1107 TO 23.4 MM THICK), WITH ASSOCIATED PUMP STATIONS , BLOCK VALVE AND TERMINAL STATIONS. I WAS INVOLVED IN THE FULL PROJECT FROM MOBILIZATION STAGE TILL THE COMMISSIONING. THE PROFECT REQURED TO WORK IN EXTENSIVE HARD LOCATIONS OF SAND STROMY DESERT OF MUSMAR. ALSO DODSAL WAS FIRST OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY TO COMMENCE OPERATIONS IN SUDAN. MY JOB WAS HSE ASPECTS COVERING HOT WORK, PERMIT SYSTEM, EXCAVATION, BLASTING, HEAVY LIFTING, ETC. BLASTING FOR ABOUT 20 KMS WAS THE BIIGGEST CHALLENGE DURING THE PROJECT AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THIS PROJECT I WAS TRANSFERRED TO ABU DHABI FOR A 500 M $ PIPE LINE AND REFINERY EXPANSION PROJECT FOR TAKREER(ADNOC)
PERIOD ; MAR 2003 TO JUL 2004
COMPANY : SHAFAR GROUP OF COMPANIES, LEADING GROUP IN DUBAI WHICH HAS 14 DIVISIONS UNDERTAKEN MANY MAJOR PROJECT IN DUBAI
CLIENT : NAKHEEL PROPERTIES AND EMIRATES
POSITION : GROUP HSE OFFICER
Project scope includes erection of 22000 steel columns and beams of uneven sizes and shifting and construction of petrol stations. This is the largest ever steel erected in one single project in Middle East. My Job was HSE coverage for Main contractor including about 20 subcontractors covering the full project covering 1100 personnel. The control of subcontractors was a major achievement for me in this project. As the subcontractors were more the simultaneous activities were activated at all times. Ensuring proper guidance to subcontractor and thereby ensuring safety of all the activities were my major role. Had to work long hours during this project due to long hours. The Chinese prime minister inaugurated this project and has special appreciation for safe completion of the project as the project required heavy uneven critical lifts to be safely carried out.

PERIOD ; JAN 1988 TO DEC 2002 (15 YEARS)

POSITION : PETTY OFFICER OF SHIPS DAMAGE CONTROL ORGANISATION
(NUCLEAR BIOLOGICAL CHEMICAL DAMAGE CONTROL ORGANISATION.)
I joined Indian Navy in 1988 and worked on board warships, on shore and off shore facilities. I started off from a very young junior level and rose to the senior supervisory level. Hence I have experience to work at the root level. During my 15 years tenure, I have undergone various firefighting and safety courses conducted by ministry of defense and gained extensive knowledge and experience in the field of fire and safety. Indian Navy has been the foundation of my career. . Over the years all the experiences has provided me excellent platform to train myself and handle tasks single handedly and work during severe pressure and stressful conditions. Working in Indian Navy has enabled me to fit into any situation with relative ease. The Primary jobs were safety during ships repairs at dockyards and ships at dry-dock conducting regular fire exercises. Hot work was a major work and required a lot of safety attention especially in oil tanks and explosive tanks. Permit system and coordination with dockyard workers was the key.
