Instrument pipe fitter Worked for various major players in the field of Petro-chemical and offshore production facilities including Shell, BP, Talisman, Agip, BG, Chevron/Texaco, Mobil. In doing these shutdowns, turn around and planned maintenance interventions, the continuous development of my ability to forward myself was always available, to the extent of starting my own fabrication/ manufacturing company. The different work scopes that I have worked on differ from small-bore instruments through to large bore pipe for land transfer of gas, in various materials and jointing methods. I have also worked abroad for periods of time for ship repair companies and car engine manufacturers. My knowledge is vast in the fabrication side pipefitting from design of skids and panels to installation of complete systems.
Pipefitter/ Fabricator Having served my apprenticeship in the shipyards I was taught most of the basics for other trades including Burning, Welding (pipe and plate, MIG, MMA, Tig, Gas) Plating and layout (Ship-Wright).
