Jomax Drilling- Derrickhand, 2005- 5500 m diesel electric triple. I am still employed with this company and am headed to work on a 6500M rig, that has just been built Jomax. After 5 yrs with this company. I have worked on numerous rigs in the 4000m-6500m range. Mainly, foothills drilling. I have been promoted throughout the ranks fairly quick. My responsibilities were throughout this time maintaining, servicing, tuning, monitoring, a wide range of equipment involved with diesel electric,triple-cantilever land rigs. As well, as secondary supervisor of crews, and other basic drilling operations. Involvement with the tear out and rig up of drilling rigs. As well take instruction from drilling foreman, tool pusher, Driller in operations of various tools. Pipe-fitting, electrical, mechanical experience . Top Drive experience for the past 4 yrs, Tesco 900 hp 350 ton, varco 500 ton units. Casing tools, snubbing units and various well-servicing applications. Exploration and production, Reacted to variety of severe hole problems: L.C., Coal Seams, Sloughing and well control issues. Twist offs, pipe breakage, high torques, bead units, fishing tools. Formation knowledge; all wells were drilled in the foothills.
Jomax Drilling-Assistant Driller2005- 2006,Driller 2007- present, currently employed as a driller on rig 12, it is a new build, 5800 m diesel electric triple, National Oilwell top-drive with touch screen and manual controls.

Grade 12, Wadena Composite High School, First Aid and CPR, H2S ticket, WHMIS, TDG, Rig Site loader operator ticket, leadership development ticket, Confined Space entry and rescue, Fall Protection for rig workers, Rig Rescue a.k.a High angle rescue. 1st line b.o.p.supervisors, continental chain and rigging seminar, underbalanced drilling app. Messier & Associates Leadership skills, RISK Assessment, Hazard ID + JSA training/ Suncor Energy Inc.

Very good with linux, microsoft and mac software. Highly knowledgable of pason and chimo drilling systems. Tesco and Varco computer skills are good.
