Primary responsibilities include: management and maintenance of data and voice communications used by 300+ personnel on and offshore, requiring expertise with Cisco Networks/VSAT/µWave/VHF/HF/SHF, Wireless and Telephone Networks to ensure the reliability of communications both locally and globally.
Achievements
• Project managed the construction of dedicated communication towers and microwave links, including civil works to extend the corporate network across the capital city.
• Project managed the communications and search and rescue requirements for the companies Fast Rescue Craft that operates in remote waters from Direction Finders to Marine HF and Satellite systems.
• Configured, installed and maintained Motorola Canopy and Cisco wireless networks across the capital city for Data and VOIP use.
• Played a key role in the design and conversion of a former Hotel into the Company’s Headquarters including LAN, WAN and VLAN networks using Cisco switching and routing equipments.
