Aug, 1995 Position: First Class Marine Electrician
Following Navy and Coast Guard marine drawings I would route and terminate cables for all related electronic and electrical fixtures on research vessels. I was responsible for welding and fitting in place terminal boxes, or other equipment necessary for ships operation. I would also tune and test systems prior to official Quality Control checks.
Leadership: Responsible for training apprentice personnel in safety procedures and correct electrical instillation.

Jan. 1995 to Worldwide Labor Support, Pascagoula, Ms.
Apr. 1995 Position: First class Machine repair technician
I repaired bending, cutting and boring machines for Caterpillar Earth Moving in Aurora IL. Duties included preventative maintenance, identifying and correcting hydraulic leaks, and servicing equipment for correct operation.

Jun. 1991 to Litton, Ingalls ShipBuilding, Pascagoula, Ms.
Jun. 1994 Position: First Class Marine Electrician
Here I received training in burning and welding of mild steel for the fitting electronic equipment to the hulls of Navy ships. I performed all aspects of installation of the electronic and electrical systems aboard amphibious assault carriers, and the WASP class guided missile destroyers produced at Ingalls.
Leadership: I also supervised cable and electrical crews comprising between 18 and 26 members. In this capacity, I obtained and provided Marine drawings for my crews, interpreted, and directed operations on the budgets under my control. I would also interact closely with other departments when a conflict with drawings became apparent. My duties also included field engineering for main wire way for each class of ship I was assigned.

Aug. 1988 to U.S.A.F. 3380th Transportation A.T.C. Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS.
Apr. 1991 Position: Special Purpose Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic
At this time in my career I cross-trained into Special Purpose Vehicle Repair. In this job I maintained equipment assigned to Keesler AFB, a wide variety of heavy equipment. On April 30th of that year I separated from active duty in the Air Force with an Honorable discharge.
Leadership: I was responsible for supervising Airmen assigned to me in all aspects of military responsibility and assigned tasked related to vehicle repair and safety. I would also supervise in defense and offensive military exercise operations conducted for training purposes.

Nov. 1987 to U.S.A.F. Det. 2 1365th Audio Visual Squadron, M.A.C. Keesler AFB,
Aug. 1988 Biloxi, Ms.
Position: Visual Information Production-Document Helper
During this nine-month period I worked as a cameraman and production helper while awaiting cross training opportunity. This was a job I enjoyed.

Nov. 1985 to U.S.A.F. 1839th Engineering and Installation Group, Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Ms.
Nov. 1987 Position: A.F.C.C., Meteorological and Navigation Systems Specialist.
My work was in the line of electronics construction and mockup. I led a team in the construction assistance of Ground Launch Cruise Missile (G.L.C.M.) base command centers for Europe. I also supervised the Air Force's "Visibility Display Selector" construction program. In this position I reported on all man hours and parts requirement for the completion of the equipment manufacturing along with assuring military standards were kept by the personal under my command.
Leadership Management: Also during this time I served as special projects N.C.O. for the unit, under the command of Lt. Col. Horst Grasz. For this service I received the Air Force Achievement Medal. In this position I would coordinate all manpower and material for the purpose of constructing major recreation and morale projects for our unit and Keesler Air Force Base.

Oct. 1982 to U.S.A.F. 1962nd CommGroup AFCC, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, JAPAN Nov. 1985 Position: Meteorological and Navigation Systems Specialist
Here I maintained Tacan (tactical air navigation systems), I.L.S. (instrument landing systems), OMNI Range and Radar equipment, for Space Shuttle Support and military flight facilities for Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. flights in and out of Kadena A.F.B. Okinawa, Japan.
Leadership: For a little more than a year I was given shift supervisor responsibility in the units N.C.M.O., this was the job control function for all standard military communications, for the Island of Okinawa.
