Provide professional health, safety and environmental support to all aspects of the offshore operation and to support the implementation of the HSE policies and the company’s fulfillment of its duty of care responsibilities promoting a pro-active HSEQ culture and actively monitoring HSEQ aspects of all processes and documentation.

Assisting HSE Manager to implement HSE Plans;

Supporting Development, maintaining, reviewing and coordinating HSE activities;

Manage HSE training plan and carry out / support presentations; Conducting in house HSE Training like PERMIT TO WORK , CONFINED SPACE ENTRY, WORKING AT HEIGHT, USE OF SAFET HARNESS AND FALL PROTECTION DEVICES ETC. and Assessment;
Lead in the investigation of any accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences or near misses involving departments’ personnel or subcontractors; Act as focal point for all HSE incident reporting and compilation of statistics; Co-ordinate all HAZID and HAZOP actions to satisfactory close out;
maintain contract specific HSE and quality documentation, including procedures / work instructions and audit schedules; Perform internal and external project / contract related audits; Manage improvement actions / corrective actions / NCRs to satisfactory closeout;

Supporting company and contractors in maintaining compliance with the clients HSE Plans, Procedures and Standards;

Advising, monitoring and auditing HSE Arrangements;

Assisting in production and revision of Standard operating procedures, Operational instructions and HSE plans;
Assisting in the review and advise on Risk Assessments, method Statements for the client and its contractors and ensuring their application;
Acting as focal point and maintaining incident investigation & corrective action database.
Conduct Pre-tour, weekly safety meeting. Providing input to Safety Meetings;
Acting as focal point for safety programs & initiatives e.g. STOP, Safety Suggestions Schemes etc.
Mentoring, training and developing trainees as and when assigned;
Conduct safety meeting and prepare JSA for critical operation.
Conduct formal activity specific safety induction to employee on board.
Monitor hazardous operation and take necessary safety precautions as required.
Issue and control all work permits and maintain log of permit to work system.
Record file and update all employees training records.
Prepare monthly training matrix of all employees and suggest for onshore management for external training requirements.
Implement and monitor an existing in house training program. This includes the upkeep of an HSE training matrix and identification of HSE trainings needs.
Ensure that all personnel arriving onboard have been given safety briefing relevant to the rig / facility safety equipments and emergency response actions and record keeping of those actions.
Train monitor and report on the performance of specific specialist safety team such as fire teams, back up team etc. ensure that those teams are prepared to act accordingly in the event of emergency. Conduct Weekly emergency drills which includes, fire drill, H2S drill, Man overboard, abandon drill and man down.
Carry out weekly and monthly inspection of Life saving and safety equipments.
