Please find enclosed a brief CV for your consideration. I am seeking employment offshore and would like to be considered for any suitable vacancies.
I have worked offshore for 17 years , most recently in the role of motorman, for which I have attended all courses and received all necessary on the job training.
I consider myself a competent and conscientious worker who always gives 100% effort in every role and task assigned to me.
I am a good team player but am also able to work on my own initiative.

Employment 2007 – Present Offshore Marine Services
Working with an agency on various installations and in various positions but mainly as Motorman/ Mechanic. I have worked for various companies in this role and am carrying out the duties as required by my supervisors on these installations.
2005 – 2007 Motorman, Transocean inc.
Working on various Installations I worked as Motorman. My duties included looking after the main engines, this also included the keeping of records and carrying out services on the equipment as required and ensuring all company policies and procedures were adhered to. I also looked after the High-pressure compressors, the rig air compressors, and all hydraulic systems onboard the rig, the pot water system, and various other items onboard the rig. In my normal duties I was also required to manufacture Hydraulic hoses and machine parts for various pieces of equipment on board the rig.
2003 – 2005 Various, Rigman Offshore Having taken voluntary redundancy from my previous position I worked for Rigman in various positions for two years although I mainly received Motorman posts. During this time I enjoyed the variety of the work and found myself able to fit in with a variety of teams and different working styles. While working aboard the J.W.McLean I was offered a permanent position as Motorman with Transocean.
1991 – 2003 Various, Sedco Forex.
I began working with Sedco Forex as a roustabout and then progressed through various positions as roughneck and then derrickman. I then decided to enter the engine room and took up a position as motorman.

Working as a technician I worked on a variety of projects that included the installation and testing of complete communication systems. While working for the company I was put through my offshore survival to work on offshore communication systems.
