I would like to apply for the post Welding Engineer.
For seven years I have been working for ALSTOM Power in the Casing Manufacturing Department. The company produces complete power generators and casings for gas turbines.
My first position was Quality Inspector. I supervised the whole process of casing production. Especially the processes of assembling and welding constructions. After 2 years, I was promoted and took the position of a Foreman in the same department. I have been working in this position for 5 years now. I'm responsible for the production operations concerning welding processes and activities connected with welding. My duties include also: planning, organising and supervising production in accordance with schedule, technical requirements, production technology and industrial safety. I am also responsible for increasing labour efficiency, by means of following the production indexes and making right decisions.
The essential technical knowledge I obtained through many years of welding oriented education. I graduated from Wrocław Technical University, in the department of Mechanical Engineering, specialization - Join Engineering. I have certificate of International Welding Engineer.
Two years ago I was appointed to supervise the transfer of technology to a company based in Beijing, China. I conducted several trainings for Chinese workers in Beijing, it referred to the production of casings. I also supervised every production stage, and finally inspected the product. After successfully completing the task, I was rewarded by the managing director.
At my present work, I am considered to be a responsible, highly motivated and creative employee. I am good at co-operating and communicating with people, and I can work in a team. I am ready to work flexible hours and in different places. I am certain that I fulfil the candidate’s profile.
