I’ve 21 yrs of experience in the field of steel construction working for various industries, I started my carrier with Ship Building as production engineer & there after shifted to pressure vessel construction, Offshore platform construction & presently last 02yrs working with Saudi Aramco as inspection engineers (client Rep) for various on going projects at Saudi Arabia.

Presently working as client Rep for all Saudi Aramco projects under southern area project inspection unit, I am responsible for acceptance of welding, coating, Equipment installation, conducting hydro pressure testing, mechanical completion etc.
Review of construction related documentation, approval of QC personnel, welder, coating applicator etc.
Water Injection Pump station Installation: Worked as client rep for installation of CGT & Booster pump, Air Drier, LO tank etc, related piping system of the pumping facility, Approval & implementation approved coating scheme, on plot piping installation & welding ,Approval of the various procedure related to the plant welding, coating, preservation of equipment, bolt tightening ,hydro pressure testing procedure etc.
Cross Country pipe line (Khurais Ghawar Treated water line), covering 250kms of internally & externally coated pipeline of various Diameters 60” to 16”. I was involved with inspection & acceptance of welding (GMAW (Passo),SMAW &TIG), internal & external coating FBE coating manually & by robotic crawler technique , Valve / Pipeline hydro testing, NDT involving Radiography, Auto UT, MPI , DPI and monitoring of welding & welder repair rate.
All the special process document related to welding, coating, hydro testing, bolt torque procedure was reviewed & approval.
Hawiyah (NGL) I was initially assigned for the ongoing project of Hawiyah Natural Gas liquefied plant installation. I was overseeing of welding, PWHT & Coating activities.
Maintain potential works of SAPID: Overseeing of hot Tapping & refurbishing works of various pipelines for oil & Gas.

L&T (MFF)

L&T (Modular Fabrication Facility) is one of the leading Facilities, under taking Construction of various off shore & Pressure vessel related activities. This unit of L&T is also certified for manufacturing of pressure vessels as per ASME S, U, U2 stamps and also certified for ISO-9001, ISO 14001 (EHS), and OHSAS 18001 for Safety.
Working in Inspection & Quality Control Department, Roles and responsibilities during above period are as follows:


• Planning of Inspection activities - Forecasting and Planning of Inspection load, Distribution of load among inspectors and coordination with 3 party surveyors and customers, Preparation of Detailed Inspection Procedures, etc.
• Inspection of Received material for further processing, i.e. plates, pipes, forgings, fittings, fasteners, gaskets, etc. with respect to purchaser / client specification and approved drawings, applicable Code & Standards, and maintaining record of Materials used for construction
• Preparation of QA / QC Plan in line with specification and Code / Standard requirement and obtain customer /client approval for their Hold, Witness or Surveillance check points, Preparation of Seam wise and assembly wise Checklist for better tracking of the job progress.

 Review of Welding documents i.e. Welding Procedure Specification, Weld Plan and Test Plan, Welder Qualification
 WEP , Setup / Fit up, and Weld Visual Examination,
 Surveillance during welding to ensure the use of approved WPS

SHIP BUILDING CENTRE (VIZAG) SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER.

Shipbuilding Centre is the prime building organization of India involved in construction of Advance technological vessel. The following Building code are referred, ASME IX for welder qualification. ASME Sec VIII Div-I & Ghost for dimensional requirement, ASME Sec V for NDT and Swedish/BS 5493 & 729 Standard for Surface preparation and Painting.
Working in Execution Department, Roles and responsibilities during above period are as follows:
 Supervision of Quality checks in Production Floor activities.
 Study of Structural Drawing.
 Data up keeping of all production activities.
 Calcination & Hydrogen evaluation of Low hydrogen electrode.
 Supervision of Fabrication / Erection of Sections and Blocks.
 Monitoring of RT/ UT repairs of welding.
 Hydro pressure testing of various Pressure vessels.
 Hydro pressure testing of all system piping during fabrication and after installation.
 Monitoring surface preparation to Swedish Standard and painting of the structure &
System of the Vessel to the international standard.
 Installation of electrical cable rooting & foundation of electrical equipment’s in
Compartments as per the Drawing.

2. INDIAN NAVY: CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE & PRODUCTION ENGINEER for various Repair Yards. NSRY (K) and FTSU (V), Floating dock, HSL (V).
Under taking of Ship construction / Ship Repair related activities.
The following Building code was used for construction, Naval Construction Documents, BS 5493 / 729, BS 5950 Part-II and NSSS. Construction drawings of British, Russian, polish and Korean were used for construction of new built ships and following works was performed.
