My experience in the oil and gas industry was acquired over a ten year period ranging from field work offshore straight through to upper management. This multi-disciplined exposure ranged from Drilling Engineering, project controls & management, reservoir engineering and commercial upstream oil gas management.

Although successful in my current career, I am looking forward to an international role.

Upon review of the enclosed resume, you will also notice that I have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. To further complement this, I have completed all tertiary classes of an International MBA - Finance.

With regards to language capabilities, my home language is English but my French is intermediate and my Spanish is basic. I am also currently attempting German.

Project Services Team Leader – Northern Area Development
Project Controls Team Leader for one of our Major (ca. $900 M+, 680 bcf+) New Field Development Projects (NUI, D&C, pipeline, construction, installation and tie-in) as it is progressed from Define to the end of Execute stage of our Capital Value Process. Support provided to the Project team to ensure the necessary cost, schedule and administrative controls and reporting mechanisms are in place and actively utilized. Accountabilities include:

 Creating and staffing a high performance Project Services Team, comprising BP and Agency staff, aligned to the project’s goals and within BP’s corporate guidelines.
 Ensuring that team accountabilities are clear and that appropriate resources are maintained to meet performance requirements.
 Establishing strong working relationships and clear communication with other project teams and to manage interfaces effectively.

Project Services and Planning Team Leader – Projects Development
Team Leader for the Project Controls section of the Projects Development Team dedicated to:

 Owned and maintained the Basin Development model (Reservoir-to-market simulation of bpTT’s entire portfolio of business opportunities, encompassing the whole value chain and considering all key exploration, production, engineering and financial uncertainties).
 Delivered the bp Trinidad & Tobago Long Term Plan (LTP); forecasted the aggregate gas, condensate and crude oil deliverability, project and well activity sets, and associated capital investments summing more than $5 billion (US) 2008 to 2012, and almost $10billion thereafter.
 Maintained harmonious relations and integrated teamwork with commercial, markets, subsurface, wells and major project teams and collectively prepared the aggregated basin development plan to underpin the LTP.
 Prepared and delivered business cases supporting the initiation of multiple major (ca. $500M+) New Field Developments. (NFDs)
 Developed the 20 year drilling programme by commercially optimal scheduling of exploration, appraisal and development wells within the portfolio of opportunities.
 Worked in integrated subsurface teams to prepare field depletion plans, accounting for ca. 10tcf of gas reserves.
 Provided a vital link between the subsurface and commercial teams for the generation of production and CAPEX profiles for the bp Group Financial Outlook (GFO) submissions and Finance Memorandums to sanction activity funding.
 Generated Production Profiles and reserves for all bpTT fields in order to provide the annual bookings of proven and non-proven reserves. (Requirement under both US SEC and UK SORP definitions, guidelines and practices).
 Prepared and delivered presentations to management involving tactical gas supply options, involving multiple sensitivity cases to inform risk based executive judgments and decisions.

Key Accomplishments:
 Consistent upkeep and application of bpTT’s Basin Planning model (using PetroVRtm software) which is underpinned by leading edge data management and forecasting software.
 Successful leadership of the Planning team during critical the annual LTP, SORP and SEC reporting exercises for 2006 and 2007.
 Played integral part in the 2007 rig contract negotiations and development of the current Business unit Rig Strategy.
 Assisted in the development and performance tracking of 2007 and 2008 Projects Development Team performance charter inclusive of CAPEX and OPEX budget and management ($20M+).
 Key team member for the Resource Progression and Basin Development Depletion planning process optimization.
 Key contributor in the Mahogany field De-Bottlenecking study.
 Provided support for the Juniper field contract De-dedication study and proposal.
 Key contributor in the Onshore Compression study for the cumulative access of all low pressure reserves below 650psi.
 Key support in developing the Business Unit Subsea concept / strategy.

2003 to 2006…Baker Hughes INTEQ
Operations Manager – MWD
 Co-ordinated and managed of Baker Hughes INTEQ MWD services with respect to people, material and Repair and Maintenance.
 Participated in the Baker Hughes INTEQ HS&E Management System, including compliance with policies, management standards and specific HS&E procedures.
 Pursued Baker Hughes INTEQ business opportunities, with particular emphasis on marketing the MWD product and service line.
 Prepared and presented monthly Revenue, Marketing and Operations Forecasts.
 Prepared and presented the annual plan and revenue forecasts.
 Prepared and presented of periodic performance reviews for the various clients (oil & gas operators).
 Managed a designated group of field employees with emphasis on safety, efficiency, personal development and career advancement including training of said employees.
 Prepared tenders, in collaboration with other members of the management team, for all Drilling and Evaluation services.
 Supervised the custodians of the Formation Evaluation and Survey Databases.
 Ensured adherence to the Region’s Quality system and the documenting / implementation of changes to operating procedures.

 Increased HS&E awareness & continuous improvement in HSE performance through supervision and training resulting in no lost time accidents for the MWD Department.
 Successful Co-ordination and management of Baker Hughes INTEQ MWD services (personnel and equipment) on over 65 wells including exploration, HPHT and horizontal wells with operations spread over 5 Rigs.
 Effectively pursued and managed multiple contracts and relations with bp, BHP Billiton, Trinmar and Petrotrin.
 Established a culture of staff development with the emphasis on cross training which led to a more efficient, flexible work force.

2000 to 2003…Baker Hughes INTEQ
Directional Driller / MWD Field Service Engineer
 Offshore field engineer responsible for the acquisition of precise, timely formation evaluation and survey measurements of the borehole that enabled control of the deviation of the bottom hole assembly with minimal interruption in drilling.
 Liaison with the client, equipment management and troubleshooting.
 On-site project management and work supervision.
 The generation of precise, timely reports and formation evaluation logs, pressure while drilling logs, monitoring well performance, borehole survey acquisition.
 Data Quality Management.
 Local and International exposure working on projects for bpTT, Chevron, Exxon / Mobil, Trinmar, UPR / Anadarko, Murphy Exploration & Production, Pogo Producing, Venture Production and BHP Billiton.
