CV/Resume Details

1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I would like to be considered for employment with your company. In my resume you will find that I have more than 15+ years experience in the maritime industry.
I have worked on a variety of vessels including derrick barges, cable laying vessels, dive vessels, recovery vessels, and R.O.V. vessels. While employed on these vessels I have developed extensive working knowledge of all systems aboard ship(s). I have at one time or another worked on most of the mechanical systems and equipment on these vessels.
During my 15+ years of experience, I have developed skills necessary to the smooth operations of such vessels and the jobs for which they were designed. I have served in nearly every capacity required to complete jobs for which these vessels were commissioned.
I hold a variety of H.E.S. certifications. Utilizations of the skills required for these certifications are used onboard on a daily basis.
I have most recently served as deck foreman and am seeking a job of that position or better. Long term employment is most desirable but part-time or contract employments are options that I will consider as well.
As I enjoy travel, employment requiring such is not a problem, and is actually preferred. I have worked primarily in the Gulf of Mexico, in U.S. waters but will consider other countries and bodies of water as other feasible options as well.
I speak, read, and write English proficiently as this is my native language and have the capacity to read and speak Spanish as well.
I thank you for your time and consideration as a candidate for employment and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience to arrange an interview.
