I have three years experience as a Reservoir Engineer ; junior Reservoir Engineer
• Reservoir Engineer for General Petroleum Company (GPC) from 6/2005 till now .
• Petroleum Engineer in Ras Gharib field and Western Desert fields for General Petroleum Company (GPC) for about one year.


Responsible for reservoir engineering monitoring of Ras Gharib field (oldest field in Egypt, since 1938, 277 wells).
 Performing reservoir management plans for future well proposal of Ras Gharib field.
 Building several Single Well Models (SWM), and over all Reservoir Simulation Project using ECLIPSE Simulator for Ras Gharib Field.
 Member of Ras Gharib group study.
 Responsible for creating OFM projects for all the oil & gas fields of GPC (500 Wells).
 Computing OOIP using the volumetric method, the material balance equation and compare with the results from OFM.
 Participated in integrated reservoir engineering study for Ras Gharib field with Schlumberger co. including :
1. Data review and preparation (Production data from 1938, with some missing data in between, as a problems must be solve).
2. Build OFM projects( plots. DCA, reports) for Ras Gharib field, 527 wells completions, construct different maps to help in the analysis of the field.
3. A good and developing user of ECLIPSE 100 .
4. Performing several runs, with fine tuning in some parameters to achieve accepted history match.
5. Performing different scenarios in the prediction phase include the possibility of water injection into lower reservoirs, infill wells, watered out and optimizing the current gas injection project.
 Responsible for Monitoring of gas injection performance Project (EOR), to Maximizing the Recovery through (Monitoring injection rate, gas front advanced, and Gi/Gp ratio).
 Performing pressure transient test analysis for GPC wells, using well test analysis, automate software (LANDMARK).
 Well logging interpretation (old generation such as (SP, electrical log since 1938), and modern generation logs such as {CMR (Schlumberger)}, {MRL,SED, EHRI, CAST-V for cement and casing evaluations (Halliburton)}.
 Production logging interpretation (PLT) and Thermal Decay Time Tools (TDT).
 Analyze RFT/RDT data to determine : the fluid gradient , contacts, reservoirs communication.
 Responsible for annual reserve reviews and annul production forecast.
 Dealing with fractured limestone, and sandstone Reservoirs.
 Contributing to workover & re-completion programs, including addition perforations, water shut-off and gas shut-off.
 Guide and train new reservoir engineers for various tasks.
 Make economic studies especially for new wells drilled for GPC.
Member of the team constructed to conducting reservoir simulation study for SHB Field (OSOCO Company) to determine the availability of drilling new infill well, and appraisal well.
