I am currently Looking to progress my career within the oil and gas industry mainly within the Electrical field.
I have worked within many different aspects of heavy industry from chemical sites, drilling rigs and also production within various levels of authority.

• Carry out daily inspections on electrical distribution system.
• RPE for installation.
• Issue all permits for electrical work.
• Restore power to all systems in the event of a blackout in a safe controlled manner.
• Repair of Hazardous Area Equipment
• Breakdowns on item such as Fire and Gas Systems, Subsea control system, Generators, HVAC systems, various instrumentation, IG Plant.
• Carry out all electrical isolation and fault-finding.
• Carry out electrical and instrument P.P.M’s reporting to Operations Supervisor
• Carry out Electrical installations and disconnections of third party equipment.
• Carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment.
• Assist in Heli-deck operations and deck operations.
• Position within Emergency Response Team in CCR
• Carryout Basic telecoms repairs on items such as: Gyros, rectifiers, Inverters, LOS system, PA system, VHF radio’s
• Carry out daily inspections of engineroom equipment and other rig equipment
• Maintain greasing and oiling of machinery.
• Prepare and place generators on line / off line depending on power consumption on rig.
• Breakdowns on item such as Mud pumps, Top Drive, Generators, HVAC systems etc, during night shift.
• Carry out all electrical isolation and fault-finding at night
• Carry out electrical P.P.M’s reporting to Chief engineer
• Carry out general electrical tasks on rig such as emergency lighting inspections/repairs, basic fault finding.
• Carry out Electrical installations and disconnections of third party equipment.
• Installation of new UPS and inverter systems – Single phase, Three Phase
• Replacement Of UPS and inverter systems - Single phase, Three Phase
• Repair Of UPS and inverter systems - Single phase, Three Phase
• Consultation on requirements for customers
• Management of Subcontractors and works
• Repair of damaged Electrical plant – Motors, lights, MCC’S etc
